I work in aerospace as an engineer,I have a degree in Chemistry and minor in Materials Science.
Sugar can be used to make toy rockets but you cannot feasibly use sugar as a fuel for rockets used as weapons.
And that would be using pure sugar, you aren't extracting sugar from cookies to do that.

The rising sugar vapors would be collected in a condenser tube, and drip fed into another flask. The process is repeated until the solution is pure. usually just takes 3-4 goes. This is basic chemistry. And the yields can easily be upwards of 80% of the original product. (You can easily get 80% or more of the original amount of sugar back.)

Heat has already been applied to the sugar in the cookies, starting the same process that would propel a rocket should the sugar be used as fuel. It would take an incredibly elaborate process to return that sugar to its prior state, if even possible.

The question "why is there a blockade" is actually a good hasbara talking point because it's a question with huge scope which the goalposts can be easily moved.
One possible counter-narrative is to talk about similar situations such as the South African bantustans and the North American reservations. Keep bringing the topic back to the specific points you have prepared though and don't allow them to run a list at you. Slow down and Finkelstein them
or you could get lucky and if you're debating someone like Destiny they'll just say "Cookie Rockets" and save you the trouble of an actually complicated conversation by looking like a psychopath.

I live on a native reservation in the US and it is NOTHING like the conditions in Gaza, even before October 7. I can freely come and go, for one, I don’t have to carry ID identifying me as Native or have a license plate on my car that signals as such, I’m not here against my will, my family isn’t in danger (or at least not anymore than a regular town with a similar population and crime rate), the reservation is governed by its own people via a democratically elected tribal council, there’s no concrete walls surrounding it, it’s located on the tribe’s original ancestral land (which sadly isn’t true for reservations in other states, but we are fortunate in that regard), the laws are fair, there’s no armed military guards with sniper rifles watching to see if we try to leave, there’s plenty of food and clean drinking water, there’s zero chance anyone is going to force us out or take our land away or shrink our territory, we are not a religious minority, and we are fully recognized as a sovereign nation.
I could go on and on. Obviously the history of reservations is very, very dark and screwed up, and a lot of reservations are plagued with drug, alcohol, and gambling addiction and have high crime and poverty rates. I’m not saying they’re great or that there’s nothing to worry about, but it is NOTHING like Palestine/Gaza. They have it so much worse than we do, which is saying a lot. They ARE and WERE in constant danger and are being exterminated like pests and the entire world is watching it happen. Meanwhile, I have a safe warm house, food to eat, a job, my friends and family are safe and live nearby, I’m relaxing at home watching RUclips ffs. It is just not comparable, at all.
The biggest similarity to take note of is the forced displacement and theft of land and homes from the Palestinian people, but even then it’s still a very different situation.

This argument doesn't make sense to me. Why do hundreds of hours of research and speak to experts on all sides of the matter for something you don't believe in? If he just wants to grift he can do so without doing any boring research.
One thing Destiny always says in the hundreds of podcasts he finds himself in is that people fundamentally want everyone to be able to purse happiness and freedom etc. He says multiple times, and even in his closing statement on this very debate, that one of his goals for engaging in such debates is to advocate for a realistic solution to the Isreal/Palestine conflict, and that would result in less Palestinians dying.
If you believe he's lying, then why? Do you genuinely think he's some kind of crazy sadist? I can see why you might think that, since his political opponents smear him with such characterizations all the time. Still, does it not enrage you if someone were to accuse Hasan of grifting? If you think his facts are wrong or his research is flawed, his process is all public.
On the topic of scholars, I find it interesting that everyone on the pro-Palestine side who brings up his debate opponents conveniently ignores that Benny Morris, one of the most well respected Israeli New Historians agrees with him on every point. Destiny has said that he had 4+ hours long conversations with Benny Morris to learn from him and make sure he has learned the history as it is recorded. So even if his interpretation is flawed, it comes from a genuine attempt at understanding.
I also don’t get the contrarian take. Hasan says he parrots the most widely accepted state-department talking points. Is he making contrarian points, or towing the line?
Given that there are experts on both sides such as Benny Morris and Norman Finkelstein disagreeing over the conflict, is it so hard to believe that the conflict is genuinely complicated? Or is it just that everyone on the other side are evil sadists that just can’t see the correct answer? I understand that righteous indignation feels extremely good, so I can see why people would prefer to demonize others over assuming they are acting in good faith.

i saw a documentary long ago i men like maybe 10-12 years ago about the blockades in Gaza and how it has an affect on the everyday lives of the people there.
you have food trucks that are trying to get through the blockades and are purposevely redirected because they know there fresh goods that have to be kept refrigirated in there,to go around and get stuck again in a roadblock only to end up with there goods being as good as spoiling already before they make it to there destination.

My frustration with this hasan right now is that he interacts with destiny via clips. He feels and speaks like hes easily countering his points and pointing out his errors, but he wont talk to him? Hasan's been talking about Palestine for almost ten years now, you can look up his videos in the Young Turks channel. As for why he doesn't interact with Destiny, per his own words, he doesn't want to give him cloud and he knows there'd be a mountain of hate -more than usual- against him from the "Daliban" whatever the outcome of the conversation be. I personally believe that aside from those reasons, he knows he won't be able to stay in control and will mald almost inmediately, Hasan and Destiny hate each other and his talking style is way slower, way more paused than Bonerelli's ketamine explosion so he'll come across as the loser of the "debate" even if he has better talking points (which he has). Destiny is great for someone who doesn't know anything about an issue and is easily impressed by eloquency and dramatic declamation, aside from that, almost anyone with a little knowledge of any issue knows Destiny is extremely bias and even if he memorizes a lot of information, he lacks critical thinking to interpret the facts
