In this video I explain the best performance modifications for a KIA Optima 2011-2015. ALL modifications are listed down below. From showing my Luxon Strut bar to my Exhaust setup for any KIA or Hyundai with 2.0t engine or any engine in general. This setup can work with any model such as the KIA Stinger, Optima K5, or Hyundai models like the Genesis Coupe or Sonata 2.0t. With this exhaust setup my car shoots fire and pops and bangs with a ECU TUNE. The Cpe downpipe connected to the power pipe allows for no restrictions and give your car the instant response you want. I also connected a adjustable resonator for Patriot exhaust so I could open or close the valve whenever id please. I highly recommend this setup if you want a perfect sound form your Exhaust. I do some pulls in my KIA. Showing my modified exhaust. I also demonstrate my new Aodhan wheels Ds08 in the fronts and Ds06 as my rear wheel setup. My Widebody Kia Optima K5 ( DARK RISE ), is becoming the best K5. Heavily boosted KIA. Soon to have new KIA Stinger?

Hey my dads got one one of those and you said the rev lock is bad or something but if you wanna remove it go to the fuse box and take the one out that says “rev limiter” or “rev lock” something along that

Yes sir. I was completely straight piped literally nothing from the turbo back just 3inch pipe. And would always get shit on for the farts. I understand it’s a KIA but if you make a tune that sounds like shit don’t up sale it like it’s gold lol luckily a KSR Performance with his tune is coming into play soon before the big turbo!

Im starting out modding my Kia forte5 Sx. What would you say the best first mod would be for it ?? I was thinking a Intake and new exhaust for better flow? Or should I upgrade my coolers ?

You should start a gc for optimas I have a 2016 ls that I put a few mods on and it’s really a beast sleeper

Now me being new to doing things to a Kia (previously had a mazda 3) I want to know if my 2014 gdi engine without turbo will still benefit from any of the things you put in your car
I say only cosmetic wise but I know of 2.4 motors shooting major flames.
I have the 2021 k5 gt line. I’m not even sure where to start. So far I have not found a lot of mods for it. I will admit super new to moding my car.

I just bought a 21 gt line as well! I’m not doing any mods until the warranty expires. I’m sure by then, there will be some great performance parts for it. LMK if you install anything. I want a better sound system though.

I had a 2013 Optima sxl and just started messsing eit it it has a bov and a cai. the intake actually slowed me down my computer didn't like it. it pulls timing and cuts boost
but my Optima blew the turbo so I had it replaced OEM at the dealership paid 28000cash and on the way home the optima went up in flames on the highway!! so now I'm just fucked waiting on to see what they offer for comensation

I have intake, jb4, and a custom midpipe and catback exhaust and the genesis coupe BOV with a cxracing bov i was planning on going big turbo but its too much money even tho i found a different big turbo besides lap 3 and turbo kits
Yea thats why I went with KSRPerformance 👍 not as priced up compared to the competitors.
I wish i could get all the peformance stuff for the 2.4L for my optima. Hard to find things like turbos and better parts
I’d always suggest first getting some beautiful wheels with suspension then doing performance for vehicles like ares. Our cars weren’t built for being track stars. But are beautiful platform💪 I’m sure more will come for the 2.4l engines. But patients is key💯

Id suggest looking into air intakes, also the biggest jump in power without a tune would be removing the catalytic convertor. As thats the most heavy and restrictivepart of the car

I have the Lap3 burple tune on my sonata and it sounds deeper than yours. Not that raspy fart sound. It all depends on exhaust set up. I have a couple vids on my channel. As far as shooting flames and blowing your engine, David clearly says not to Rev above 6k because you will blow your engine. I've had his tune 93 stg 1.5 tune for almost 2 years. And been running the burple tune for a year.
I apologize, I thought I uploaded a newer vid with my current exhaust set up. The one I have with the revving was the stock exhaust. That was real raspy. The one with me driving is with their newer set up. No outside sound though.

Id suggest you to check on ebay or AliExpress as for most modifications are out of the states. And I will always suggest to research before purchasing any product because some might damage.

Im an old Mopar fan since i had Challenger and Cuda in the 70 ,s and 80,s after that AudiS2 and now from 2015 Kia fan. Had Sportage first for 5 years and now 2018 year Stinger for about 32000.- euro,s! Its same in $$$$ i think! And how many horsepower this car have now? Regards from Kia Sweden! :)

I love my optima sx but i wouldn't go too far with it on performance wise. Jus asking to blow the motor even quicker 330hp to 380hp is respectable other than that is too much unless is fully built. But good luck on the build.

@@DARKRISE yes sir.. i still have my 09 Civic Si with full bolt-ons and tuned with flash-pro an made 250hp allmotor is fun to drive tho. A member (female) on the K5 Nation on FB is running 405hp with the stuffed 22t turbo an WG mod and tuned with Lap3. An her husband his car had full bolts on with a bigger turbo tuned with Lap3 he made 500hp right currently he's rebuilding the engine. People with jus intakes are blowing their motors lol 😆 but anyways man can't wait for your build super excited.

How much more horsepower did you get by adding the engine mods
With just full bolt on probably at most 10whp but with a tune I gain almost a whole 90whp using KSR PERFORMANCE 👍
I was driving my Kia, and suddenly I lost boost and it wouldn’t accelerate as fast anymore. But when I pulled over and restart the car everything is back to normal do you know what the issue could be ?
Sometimes when a car is very heat soaked or flooded with fuel. It doesn’t acceptboost. Or could be a vacuum leak or loose cable from your manifold.

What cars have you beat in a race ?
Most cars with power under 340hp example maxima, altima, 350z, bmw 335i. Most cars that aren’t intended to be fast. This car isnt a race car. Or with the power but soon with the big turbo kit id atleast be sitting in the 400club🙏

So why an optima cause I’m getting one and I want to know if u and any regrets?
So everything about my car I love and recommend going with the SXL to get the fully loaded package, but something I wish I knew before hand was the weakness of the motors. They are very fragile compared to others cars Ive had. If not maintained properly or not running the right modifications/tune they will definitely go out sooner. But it definitely turns heads and surprises alot of people 👍
