Measurement yeh tha - 3/4 cup Sugar (i.e half brown sugar and half white sugar or 3/4 cup only white sugar can also be used) - aapne poora brown sugar use kar liya hai.. White Sugar when heats up adds moisture to cake. Also from sound of it it seems that your cake became dry; perhaps 2-4 min pehle check karna chahiye if it's done or not. Trust aapne measurement cups use kiye hai.

@@MeghnasFoodMagic that's right...but the cups come in different measurements 200ml, 240 ml, 250 ml...and in baking it really makes a lot of difference...just want to follow the right size for your recipes to get the same results

Yes temperature remains the same .. may be time could take 5 min more depending upon your oven
