I still think it was offensive to say that to Nadiya, they haven't shown any footage of him saying the same thing to other competitors.
No it is an extremely common expression in the UK and Ireland. If you are not from here you wouldnt get it x It was not offensive at all. Not even a tiny bit. People from the US or Mainland Europe wouldnt realize that its so common to say here. It has nothing to do with the fact she wears hijab.
@@iDontCareAtAllllllll just cause it had nothing to do with her hijab doesn't mean it wasn't cringe. he didnt say it on purpose in an attempt to offend her, but it was unfortunate turn of phrase. sort of like saying 'you've got a short fuse' to someone who is very short, but with the added awkwardness of the connection to a racist phrase rather than just a feature some people are self conscious about
Dear God, no one can say anything nowadays. Some people just live to be offended.
Imagine calling this awkward. In the Netherlands wed call it amusement... LOL
The ice cream/freezer incident should have been number one.
Why were people mad about Noel being in a fridge ?
I’m sorry but what happened in custard-gate? I’m really confused
I was as well had to search it up. They didn't explain it.
Ok i dont why people are mad about the fridge HOWEVER, i do not think noel is as funny as he is awkward. I miss the old seasons with mel and sue tbh
Bake off should not of gone to channel four from BBC one .
awkward moment #1 : Noel trying to help
Paul needs to stop looking at me like that
I shudder when I realize Sue and Mel won’t be there….
Last year how they treated Jürgen in the German week was quite a scandal. Fans of have called Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding "rude" and "insulting" on Twitter after they mimicked a German accent several times during the show's first German week. Matt Lucas in particular was criticized by many viewers for his "casual racism". It was hard to watch.
What?! That’s nuts! I’ve watched that episode several times and never heard something like that!
I’m still pissed that they posted a picture of the Season 8 winner on Instagram! They posted it on a Wednesday but it doesn’t air in the US until Friday! 😞
Noel in tbe fridge offended people👀. If thats the case how do they watch anything on tv? Some people just live to be offended!
I love this show!!!
TBH I think Diana did sabotaj it
-watching... Realizes- Nooo the Custard! Nooooo
I’ve never watched the earlier seasons of GBBO, so I’m not sure what Sue and Mel were really like, but from what I’ve seen, they wanted to be involved, and by that I mean too involved. At least Noel and the hosts he hosted along with never did that.
Where does Noel get his fabulous blouses
I think most of them are from lazy oaf :)
@@eviesharp17 thank you! Just viewed their website and I love it!
can someone explain "custardgate"? I didnt understand what happened there
She somehow accidentally used Howard's custard in her dessert, and by the looks of it, her custard (the one opward had to use) wasn't very good, a bit too runny etc
Laura laughing at that was awful. Not a fan of hers, she shouldn't have been in the final. Loved Mel, wish she had stayed and been with Noel.
If she didn't have her blinder on she would've been able to see him standing behind from her peripheral.
God that Alaska one that was so bad
I suspected z couple of the contestants were sabatoged. One contestant on a boiling hot day whose ice cream was removed from the freezer end left on the counter. No way thst was an accident. The other was the young man those I ingredients kept disappearing. One could happen twice kinds suspicious third time someone dnedking around with meaness in their hearts. Figuring out who did it should not be hsrd. The icecream ssbator was apparently a conrstant named Diana who was sent home due to poor heslth.
I feel bad for Iains ice cream
Bartender show... Have her fill a cup 🍶 with her sweet juices and put it in the Blender with some ice and make a special type Frozen Margarita using her juice..... Maybe a little sugar around the rim
The woman swatting the fly irritates me - while it was unintentional it shows a complete lack of self awareness
Look all I’m gonna say is bake off is amazing but the newest series has been bad as they have been scraping the barrel and the new host is really boring and just plain clingy.
Matt is okay......but as much as I hear Sandi wasn't enjoying cohosting, I preferred her chemistry with Noel and her personality. I was quite sad that she decided to leave.
Baked Alaska- gate was a scandal at the time
I really miss the ladies. I’m not a fan of the new hosts at all
Ikr...I stopped watcing GBBO because it kinda lost its feeling after the new hosts, now it just feels like a reality series, while with the original hosts, it felt like a good baking competition
The new guys are so annoying
Geez, a long winded voice over rudely interrupted by a show.
The inane commentary was not only ridiculous but absolutely unneccesary.
The innuendo gets tired, actually. We’re not all 13 years old
The program without Mary isn’t the same, I can’t stand Noel, so no watching for 3 years, after now all programs needs to tick some boxes, diversity without competence!
Love Noel, couldn't stand Mel and Sue. Talk about incompetent.
I think the humor is funny and fine around grown ups. I’ve been watching the Jr. version recently and was caught off guard and shocked at the innuendos by the host. I don’t have kids and have a pretty raunchy sense of humor and still found it cringe.
Brits need to go outside. Oh wait, raining = tsunami.
They look like a load of pretty terrible bakers. I think i could try my hand at that and I have never baked anything in my life.
ok I love it
Luv was the fridge even on? Calm down
none of these are really awkward lol.
