Amur Tiger Cubs With Mum At 10 Weeks Old

- This video shows our very proud Amur Tiger mum, Ronja, with her three 10 week old female cubs. They are slowly getting braver at exploring their enclosure, although Ronja is never far away, and she is very quick to step in and re-assure with quiet chuffing noises and licks when they get scared by groups of people walking by (they are still very shy, particularly one of them), lions roaring next door or anything slightly out of the ordinary going on that they can hear or see. This was the first time Ronja and the cubs have had anyone standing at their enclosure to film them and they all coped admirably (Ronja and her cute little family have been giving lots of quiet and space to bond since the cubs were born, being a first time mum). You can see a few moments of worry on their faces when they see someone standing at the edge of their enclosure but they soon got used to the camera, and me, and Ronja did a fabulous job of chuffing quietly at them and licking them to reassure them that they were safe. In fact Ronja kept going to get them back out from the house when they ran away from anything; I think she wants to proudly show her daughters off to everyone now, she just needs to help develop their confidence!
The Big Cat Sanctuary is set in the heart of the countryside at Smarden, in Kent. The peace and tranquillity of the site provides a sanctuary and excellent conditions for the successful breeding of the beautiful, yet endangered cats both large and small within the European Endangered Species Breeding www.whf.org.uk

It’s nice to see moma relaxed ,at ease with her surroundings but I’m sure she is still mildly keeping an ear open now and again ,her babies so playful yet not to wonder to far away from mommy.
How is it possible they keep so well hidden in the wild with babies making so much noise from the babies and there screams ??
The cubs are really big for their age of just 10 weeks. But unbelieveable is the size of the paws from the cubs. Super large paws are looking funny but both the Amur Leopard
and the Amur Tiger need help to get more again. They have the most beautiful fur which is worth a lot of money. It's time to save them from criminals which want
just earn a lot of money by shooting the animals. Not a Zoo but breeding institutions are important where they don't have much people around them. They MUST survive.
