His 16 years old brother composed this song. The brother also played the instruments in the video. The lady with the birthday cake is his sister. Mansur ( his brother) is a great instrumentalist. He comes from a family of musicians. The lyrics of this song are meaningful. “ if you want to change your world. Let’s start today... “ Thank you for the great reaction.
I love that you love this song, I love it too. We know what Dimash can do, he doesn't have to use those powerhouse vocals in every song, he's actually got quite a few where he doesn't use the vocal pyrotechnics.
This was written by his 16 year old brother Mansur and his sister also appears in the video. It was Dimash's last project in Kazakhstan before he moved to the US to live and work.

Dimash is well known for his ardent support of young musicians and his pride in his family; I love that he gets to mesh these two passions in this video with his younger siblings! Mansur did such a beautiful job on this composition and if you want to catch it live I BELIEVE that the debut was in his concert at Almaty (it's toward the beginning of Part 2) and Mansur actually joined him to play in the concert! It was such a sweet and touching moment. Mansur also made a second appearance shortly after to perform a second composition that was instrumental only, which was really cool because it had a very jazzy feel (to me it felt like a New York Voices style piece).
What makes Dimash the best in the world is not just his vocal skills but his genuine care of other people, building them up and spreading messages of peace, love, and positivity.
Dimash's brother, Mansur, turned 16 during the making of this video. 😄 Their sister, Raushan, can also sing but is following a career in medicine.

With the joint appearance of the brothers at the spectacular Almaty concert 'Stranger' and this music video, the 'little brother' Mansur takes his first steps as a musician and composer in the wide world of music and in the world public. He studies at the same music college as Dimash and also plays several instruments (what else?!)
Dimash is on the side of his Brother and sings the song that Mansur wrote for him: 'If you want to change the world, start today!' and “It is in our hands” to do what must be done to change our world.” How good it is when big brother is there to help you navigate the complex labyrinth of life. What a fresh pop melody, also easy to remember and what meaningful lyrics.
Raushan (21), the sister of the two, can also be seen in this video. She also can sing but she studies human medicine and often attends concerts as Dimash's assistant. In the video she presents a birthday cake with 16 candles. The day of the video premiere is not Mansur's birthday, it's in January... but whatever: Congratulations, Mansur, you deserve it!
This video shows the close bond between the siblings. It's so nice to see and feel how much love there is in this family.
