This is an incredible song, with what sounds like an opening in a minor key? Then a pre-chorus in another key, then a chorus in a third key. Whoever wrote this is brilliant.
Great comment! I'm always attracted to music I can't quite get ahold of, in terms of atypical key changes and harmonic rhythms. (This is why I like Donald Fagen's composition for Steely Dan.) Looks like I'm going to be boning up on dorian mode today! Cheers! @@SteveWang251
@@christopheryochum3602 I'm a fan of songs with unusual modulations too. Another Corrs song to check out is All the Love in the World, which seemingly changes key every half-minute or so (sometimes quite subtly).
I got to watch these in 1997 as support act to Celine Dion, I've been following them ever since, seen them 7 times now and each concert a gem, absolutely brilliant 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.
The Corrs Andrea lead vocal and tin whistle, Caroline on drums backing Vocals, Sharon on violin backing vocals and Jim guitar Keyboards and backing vocals. One of the most influential bands to come out of Ireland. Ireland is one of the most musical countries you’ll ever go through. For a country of 7 million people to have this much of an influence in music art and literature is unheard brilliant.
Blessings Glasses Kingdom They are an amazing band. One of the best from Ireland. I got to see them at a live concert, It worth every cent. I was not disappointed at all.. Your reaction is on point.
The Corrs are the absolute best!! I play the drums because of Caroline! You have videos of only her online and you can make a reaction video if you want. And yes, if you want to see them at their best, react to songs like Joy of Life, Toss the Feathers, Haste to the Wedding… their concert at Lansdowne Road was them at their prime!!
I love the Corrs, especially when they do their more Irish accented stuff & include traditional instruments as well as the fiddle, or as Andrea called it on this performance, the violin. Andrea plays the tin whislte as well as sings sometimes & her hard drumming sister plays the bodhran (trad drum). They're always amazing.
@@GlassesKingdom their live instrumental jigs are the best it's one that separate them as a pop band from others..react to toss the feather, joy of life and paddy MC Carthy...nobody has done it yet
Nice change of pace there TR. I got so use to Franz Rhythm and your reactions to them, which are always awesome. This was quite good too. My favorite was the drummer, Caroline (though I didn't know her name until I read the comments below).
These are some of their hits there are more Runaway Forgiven not forgotten The right time Love to love you Closer Only when I sleep I never loved you anyway What can I do Dreams So young Runaway Radio Old town Breathless They’ve also recorded the number of tracks in the Irish language that is really nice traditional Irish music with a pop flare
Tanpa pikir panjang saya langsung pencet tombol subscribe untuk channel ini ! Karena channel ini sudah memposting video the corrs ! Karena saya adalah fans berat the corrs 😍
If you're amenable, try "Joy of Life." You haven't even heard Sharon on violin yet until you've heard this. Even better..."Toss the Feathers." They're both available from the recording of the concert from which you got "Radio."
Pls react to PADDY McArthy instrumentals on this same concert, they are great multi instrumentalists....their common intstrument is the piano...dive into their catalogues of songs mix of originals songs, trads. and original instrumentals like rebel heart, silver strand and Gerry's reel
She makes no secret of that: “I play to a click practically all of the time - on stage as well - except for the Irish songs. We play our Irish songs a bit more loosely.” It’s only maintaining rhythm - she’s filling in all the rest. It’s just a tool to keep it all running cleanly and no different to the band having lyrics scrolling 🤷🏼♂️
Great stuff man, The Corrs are definitely a one of a kind band, keep those reaction vids coming. You should make another vid from this gig, that would complete the whole reaction trilogy from these anniversary cuts, here’s the last one I made: ruclips.net/video/9OSA1saqSzA/видео.html Oh btw... thanks for posting the links of my videos, that’s awesome.
one of 2 reasons , 1 you probably seen this concert before , 2 looking forward my facial expressions during unique moments of the concert, or maybe because i'm so close to the camera
when are you going to react to their live instrumentals on this same concert...toss the feather, joy of life and toss the feathers..pls nobody has done it until now ..when a lot of artist are influenced by them.

Really?@@tinwhistlemusic1191
Yes, it's a brilliant song. I believe the verses are in B dorian mode, and then the chorus is in E major.

I can tell they are Irish just by looking at the high cheekbones dark hair light eyes
One of the best band ever from Ireland besides Cranberries from 90's

I still play this 4/5 times aWEEK!!! I use the song to work out with as well!!!😅
caroline's my favorite drummer, try The Corrs - 'Joy of life' (instrumental)
Will do
For a concert of that size with that many people on stage, there is a pretty good chance the drummer was using a click track.

yes she caroline herself admitted using a clicktrack
