The community has lost a kind man and two boys lost their father and only living parent. Rudy Pinal was a wonderful person with a great smile and heart and his boys are just the same. They are great friends to a lot of our kids. On Friday, April 10 at 7 p.m. there will be a Pinal Parade (in vehicles for social distancing) past the boys’ house in the Highlands to show our love and support during this time the only way we are able. Between 6;45 and 6;55 p.m., please start lining up on Edenburg Drive facing Old Leechburg so we can make sure we pass the house at 7 p.m. when their grandma is expecting us (it’ll be a surprise for the boys). We will then turn right on Old Leechburg and turn right on Stirling to pass the house (which will be on the right). If you can, make signs, decorate your cars, yourselves, open those windows, and wave as we pass. This family is intertwined in most of our lives here in Plum. Let’s show them how much we are there for them even when we can’t physically be right now. Know that the boys’ grandparents HAVE approved this, but please do not approach the family due to the social distancing we all must maintain. Address will not be given on social media, but we expect the boys to be out to watch.
