There have been hundreds of American scientists who have disappeared and died in the jungles of Papua, they went into the forest for years and never returned. We don't have sophisticated technology to be able to find them.. some of them managed to get out of the forest to find new animal species some of them might not survive.. Most of the American scientists who survived in the Papuan forests were helped by the Papuan tribal people. because hundreds of kilometers only forest without any access to get there it is very difficult even many ships that fell in the forest were never evacuated because it was too difficult to reach..
