It all makes sense. A private apartment away from the big open spaces with their cold drafts was a great idea. The apartment is beautifully and tastefully appointed and very cozy. I know you are justifiably proud. I am sure the bathroom will not disappoint. Terry was carrying up hardware for it on the day you arrived.
It's really nice to see it all laid out after watching all the bits and pieces being worked on over the last two years. I love those removable closet lights - that's so clever!! I also love to see Ash loving on the animals. You can tell how much more comfortable he is in front of the camera now than at the beginning!

Its been a while since I've commented, but never missed an episode :-) All of you will never run out of interesting projects, whether it be the buildings themselves or antiques and collectbles. I could picture one of the rooms on the ground floor being an antique shop or an emporium with all sorts! Just the property itself would put me in the mood to buy vintage items or reproductions. Your apartment is devine! I like cozy smaller spaces. Your 3rd floor renovation invites you in, especially the parlor with its fire surround and view. Well done! No more caravan. Now you can enjoy being warm as well as a lovely bath suite! ~ Diane
Your enthusiasm is contagious! Love your design. Not overdone, but so fitting to the granduer of the chateau. I really enjoy following along with your progress. The colors you have painted, beautiful. I live in the mountains and I decorate woodsy, rustic, but here and there I put in bling. I really appreciate the real wood paneling, unpainted. Nice family. I agree about the lower ceilings, much more economical to heat and cozier. I lived in a home with cathedral ceilings, esthetically pleasing, but not economical. I think a home should be enjoyed and not a monster eating utilities. Lol, but you have something special there! Not being critical, just my thoughts, I’m much older. I hope it’s not too expensive for you. There are so many things you can do to take advantage of the weather, sun, shading. Even closing off rooms.

And when you say there will be a big kitchen in the basement, I assume you're going to refurbish the old kitchen at the chateau. I'm already looking forward to it when you tackle the project. It is wonderful how much of the chateau history you have been able to piece together. The third floor is fabulous...well done to everyone. Great cupboards off the hallway. The third floor us quite expansive isn't it...a perfect home for you both.
I can see the work and I can see the beautiful results. Your color palate is delicate and cozy. The light from the windows reflects a soft feel around the rooms and hall. You can never have too many closets and what a wonderful light in each one. I don't think we have that light fixture in the states. I love the color of the paneling in the tower. It sure did need a clean-up. Wonderful tour!

It's funny- I heard a prepper saying just today that out west in the USA when they were settling, they built low ceiling houses to keep the warmth in during the horribly cold winters. It is a very cozy, beautiful space/apartment you've made for yourselves with spectacular views. And your kitty - as most kitties do- has THE best life !!!

It feels from a viewers point that we saw all the window work each week and ❤the road building etc outdoors but that would have been great to have also seen you picking the fabrics and your design choices and be part of it all with you. It feels like you were doing all the structural stuff and then bam we get the video of it all finished which we didn’t know you were at that stage yet inside. Anyway it’s beautiful boys. Great job. The whole renovation of the third floor is beautiful. All of your hard work is paying off now. The cushions are lovely. I think the material design was originally designed by Michael Petherick, even though Angel Strawbridge is selling it as hers. I love the wall colours in the hall and living room.
