Va morir molt jove, com tantes altres figures del jazz, consumits per l'alcohol i altres drogues. Una manera d'escapar a la denigrant lacra del racisme que van patir. Felicitats i gràcies Artistes.!!!
When I was I young lad my Dad, Cliff who played mostly baritone, used to get his mates round, Keith on tenor and Eric on trumpet used to swing our house. Like these musicians they just played for the joy of producing fabulous sounds. I've just gone back 60 years listening to these stomping it out!
This is a real tenor fest! These guys know their business. Supported by the driving base runs, exquisite piano phrases, and drums from the rhythm section. First class jazz!
Bloody great piano intro. Nice reed section unison with beaut improvisational upbeat solo’s. And Scott is Scott; still going strong and whom i last saw live at Hilton’s - The Blue Parrot - room in Brisbane around 1991. Swing it guys and thanks. G’day & Cheers!

[ English ] I love these Jazz House recordings. You can't fit more talent in such a small room (I've been told by someone who's been there that it's even smaller than it looks in the videos). Joan Monné is one of my great weaknesses, for me he forms with Ignaci Terraza and Lluis Coloma the Holy Trinity of Catalan and Spanish jazz piano, he has talent and technique to give. I no longer say anything about Scott Hamilton because it is absurd, it has all been said millions of times: a great among the greatest. Joan Martí and Marçal Perramón are perhaps (along with Alba Esteban) the best saxophonists to have come out of the Chamorro factory, talent, youth and a brilliant future. And Joan Chamorro and Arnau Juliá on the rhythm, one of the best accompanists that can be found today. Fantastic recording. Thanks, Master. 😉

No puede caber más talento en una habitación tan pequeña (me ha contado alguien que ha estado allí que es incluso más chiquita de lo que parece en los videos). Joan Monné es una de mis grandes debilidades, para mí forma con Ignaci Terraza y Lluis Coloma la Santísima Trinidad del piano jazzistico catalán y español, tiene talento y técnica para regalar. De Scott Hamilton ya no digo nada porque es absurdo, está todo dicho millones de veces: un grande entre los más grandes. Joan Martí y Marçal Perramón son quizá (junto a Alba Esteban) los mejores saxofonistas que han salido de la factoría Chamorro, talento, juventud y un futuro esplendoroso.
