In this episode we find out that Herobrine has been busy making friends as there is a whole new evil entity that has entered my world!

7:28 Yes, that indeed is a bastion remnant, it was introduced in java edition 1.16, aka nether update. and this place is very dangerous.
as the name implies, its not a freshly created structure, it propably (according to the lore) lasted thousands of years, and went through many degradation stages on the way, making it really unsafe for anyone that isnt careful enough. also piglin brutes can spawn here since 1.16.2, and they are extremely buffed versions of normal piglins and they have an axe, so blocking with a shield isnt ideal anymore. oh but the loot in these is amazing, you can find so much netherite in here, enchanted diamond gear, SO MUCH gold and iron, overall. its like going to titan in lethal company: very high risk, but perfectly balanced loot to how dangerous it is.

i was also excited. when i got minecraft on my pc, i just wanted to play vanilla java edition since i hadnt ever played it before. i then was getting bored of vanilla gameplay, so i was going to get some mods. turns out that i cant get them, and i saw other people with the same problem. it really sucks because im tired of vanilla gameplay and i want something new. i know im replying to this 6 months later, but i just wanted to say this

But I just want it to be played only with Herobrine, this pack installs many mounts that have nothing to do with Herobrine. The only one that fits that is From the Frog. But still, incredible VR game with something like that. It is not for the faint of heart.

i don't know if its already in the modpack, or if vivecraft comes with it, but theres a mod that makes bridging a ton easier, (no idea if it works in vr, probably gonna try it)
its called the bridging mod and im pretty sure it lets you bridge like in bedrock.

I'd recommend using continuity or a similar mods for connected textures so your glass looks actually transparent
