When comedy central originally air the last episode they aired the pilot right after without the end credits so it gave me a reason to watch the entire series over again
Fun fact: fry was about to be called Curtis but he was renamed to Phillip after Phil Hartman who was originally going to play zapp Brannigan. Zapps voice actor is billy west impersonating troy McClure.
As well as a tribute to Hartman's voice, West also partially based the voice of Zapp off of what he thought Captain Kirk would sound like doing an impression of William Shatner!
So many things in this show made me cry. Fry's nephew being named after him, and bender telling his son "Daddy loves you. Remember that, won't you?" before his son got the surgery that erased his memory, and DEFINITELY the Seymour story
I love Fry's story arc so much, i remember watching that ending and thought it was so brilliant and heartwarming, which seems to be consistent in Fry's timeline. When that episode hit, i knew it was over and was sort of glad of it because the last season cemented the arc of the characters. So thank you again Lydia for another well thought out video and maybe one day you might do a timeline of zoidberg.

Hands down the best cartoon ever made.. how can you not root for Fry? There's a naive sincerity to him. I know everyone loves jurassic bark but the devil's hands is probably my favorite episode. And when Nibbler takes Fry to his mom's dream and "Manchild" comes on I lose it every time. Did it get a bit convoluted at times absolutely but at it's heart Futurama is a beautiful story from beginning to end

I'll love this show forever. I had some tearful moments throughout this entire video. Futurama is a show I always reply. Sometimes I skip over Jurassic Bark because I don't want to cry. Sometimes I'll play it to cry. Thank you Futurama. Thank you guys also, great video.
I'm convinced that Matt Groening was fed up with the stupidity of Homer Simpson and wanted a wholesome character, so he created Futurama and mad characters with more depth and personality. And I think that's the biggest difference between the Simpsons and Futurama, there is way more character depth and personality than the Simpsons.
Fry couldn't have used the time machine to arrive to his date on time as professor Farnsworth created a forwards only time machine, so there wouldn't be any paradoxes. Then they find out time loops. Also great video I love watching all your stuff

If you are wondering about his age, he was 25 when the series started and the series ended when he was in his early 30s But if you wanted to add all the time travel crap, god knows how old he is?
Biologically he's 38 when the series ends, but physically he's 2046(the initial 1000 years frozen plus the almost 1008 years re-freezing himself in Bender's Big Score) I'm not counting the forwards time machine because he's not physically in the universe when the machine is travelling forwards
Weird, in benders big score, 40(ish) year old fry has eye bags and slightly messy hair, whereas new fry (the latest reboot) looks the exact same as at the start of the story
People never realize how amazing futurama is the way fry time travels is awesome cause it actually makes sense plus it breaks away from the usual time machine and does freezing the storylines great and has hilarious characters
The episode with his dog was the saddest episode ever and the one when he went back to see his mom for the last time....😭😭😭😭😭 and he hugged her in her dream 💔💔💔...I don't have the heart to watch this video with his brother naming his son after his missing brother and his nephew carrying in his uncles dream of becoming an astronaut 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I can't stop crying
