By (kdrama) far, Hospital Playlist offers the most realistic setting of a hospital.. It's not always ended with happy ending, not a perfect world where everyone can be divided into good and bad, not so many conflict when you are just a regular staff member not in a managerial or directorial position.. So it really relates to many people especially working in hospital irl.
But mind you, Hospital Playlist is about 70-80% accurate, some say 90% but I doubt it. There are things that doesn't usually happen but was included in, but there are also things that happen many times but is not included for profesional/story reason.
Hospital playlist was most realistic drama i have ever watched. Second is Good doctor the korean one. As a person who is in medicine for 13 years I assure they are the most realistic ones out there among K dramas. The depiction of residents and nurses is close to real. And they arent like over the board like a doctor doing some fancy kinda surgery at 30 years of age 😅 which isnt possible in real world scenario. I myself completed my fellowship at 30 (which is considered the earliest possible age to complete residency and fellowship in my country and I am sure in other places as well) and still its a long way to go so yeah u are like late 30s when you get those level of expertise and become a professor that too in fields which are less saturated ones like mine is Oncology and it has alot more opportunity to reach professor level earlier than other specialities as its very less saturated!
I liked how this platform gave a chance for two people performing a challenging job to connect and provide emotional support even in just normalizing their experiences. Thank you nurses for the work you do, and OGS for creating this video ❤
Had a bad road accident 13 years ago and cut up my face pretty badly. I was feeling really quite low and one of the nurses who took care of me at TTSH spent extra time with me just talking and assured me that I wasn't disfigured. I am grateful for that even now. If I wasn't already so far along in my chosen field of work, I would switch careers in a heartbeat to be a nurse, the tip of the spear among the healthcare professions.
Nursing is really an under appreciated job. In this day and age there are ppl who thinks nurses job is to clean after their patients and give meds. They do more than that. I'm so thankful for my team of nurses. Had it not been for them who noticed my signs of sepsis, I wouldnt be here. And majority of them take bloods way better then most doctors I've met.
A pleasant surprise for me to see Staff nurse Kenneth in this clip! 😁 He was one of the many nurses in A&E department who attended to me and took care of me recently. Looking forward to recover fast and graduate soon to join the nursing force. 😊
Actually myself as guardian to a patient.. I have been like in and out hospitals 10-20years. we need to try our best to be nicest with them when we need their expertise. Theres always bad apples but yeah if they dont go run into the ward you are admitted be blessed
I have switched career from banking industry to nursing..and no regrets. Never too old to do what you want to. The only thing is regretting not doing while you still have the time.
Unfortunately every time I go into the ER I am immediately seen. This is due to my medical history as my lungs aren’t exactly in the best shape and my history of coughing blood. I get a lot of lung AVMs meaning my blood vessels are malformed in my lungs and I need fast surgery to get fixed. The last time was really bad and yeah I stayed in the hospital for two months. Not fun.
I have a very practical view towards this. It is ok to be a male nurse. I don't give a shit. The question is whether your pay is above average or not for a diploma or degree. If it pays well, then it is a nicer job
A nurse job is for everyone regardless of female or male. Why the discrimination of males wanting to become nurses? I don’t think a career should be defined by gender stereotypes. That’s not fair. Thank you to Kenneth and Nitiah for sharing your stories 😊
just very recently i went to the er for od on beta blockers and idk if yall know how serious this is but basically an od can stop your heart and mine was an intentional od but ya basically i go the er and i started having seizures but instead of like not being aware of whats gg on i can very clearly remember what happened because i od and it was beta blocker and i was seizuring so the nurses vcame to attend to me the moment i started having a seizure, i remember while they were attending to me, like even before they approached me thsi woman was alr like semi shouting at the front counter saying stuff like her son fever for 5 days never go down and all that and she needs them to quickly attend to him so he can recover and go back to school and all that and as i was seizuring i think she started following the group of nurses who rushed to me cause her voice got louder and louder and then she suddnely started saying shit like 'this ah girl dont even look like she got problem why she pretending to act siao? this is a warning yall better attend to my son now or else i complain to moh' bro i tell u i was so stunned cause i feel like i was having quite a bad seizure cause i remember hiitting a bunch of things accidentally and my mom is super unconfrontational but she started arguing back with the woman bro then the nurses were also like trying to help me and answer to her demands wah it was an experience eh if i could i wound wtach this happen from a third pov this sounds pretty interesting ngl

How about doing this for our pharmacists too? It will be fun to watch!
Are there TV shows about pharmacists?

Was this video re-uploaded or am I getting a bad case of deja vu?

Flfc
my experience n observation, private hospitals' are better than govt's nurses. 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏻♀️
The work load in private hospitals is less compared to public hospitals.
U get what u paid for.
