If Kirrahe is dead after Virmire, and Thane is not visited in the hospital, yes, the Salarian Councilor will die, and you will also lose either Kaidan or Ashley in the following conversation against Udina. "Where there is death, there will always be death." - Men In Black III
@@scene.g0re I'm not op, but I thought this was the only line possible too before looking it up. For me Thane died in the suicide mission so I didn't have him in ME3.
That's why I wasn't upset when he killed Thane. If anything, I was laughing. Thane says it best. Kai Leng got his ass kicked by a dying man. He should be embarassed.
I think some people may be confused by my description, so I edited it a little. This scene happens no matter who Kai Leng killed, but the line Shepard says after stabbing him changes depending on those circumstances.
I agree. I don't like the fact that Thane dies no matter what, but his death has a lot more meaning and feeling in ME3. I always end up chopping some onions when I get to that scene.
Kirrahe can die in ME1, Thane can die in ME2. If you have neither alive in ME3, there is no one to stop him from killing the salarian councilor during the coup on the Citadel. If Thane is alive, Leng will kill Thane. If Thane died in ME2, then you will have Kirrahe. If both are dead, then the councilor dies and this is what Shepard says. Otherwise, when killing Leng, Shepard says, "That was for Thane/Kirrahe, you sonofabitch!"
I could care less what Shepard says when he (or she) stabs Kai Lang with the omni-blade, I was just glad to see the son of a bitch finally die! That little bastard was a pain in the ass.
You have to make sure: Thane either dies in the suicide mission or you don't talk to him in the hospital, Kirahhe dies on Virmire, and Miranda either dies in the suicide mission or she survives Horizon
For years, I wondered what he would say if he only kills the Salarian Councilor. Thank you.
"No plot armor this time, you son of a bitch!"

"That was for Anderson's cereal, you son of a bitch!"
unfortunately he always kills someone you just need to make suer it isn't you
shoulda been an option for Shepard to go full-on Ramsey Bolton on his ass
Is it just me or Shep's voice in this scene was fitting her face.
I do like this one the most. This is more between the two of them.
Thane can be saved and he (may) survive until the ending, but he still cannot fight.
This is what happens no matter who lives.
FUCKING - TOLD!!!!!
Kai Leng can actually kill a teammate? That's news to me.
I thought this was his only death scene.
Did u have Thane die in Mass effect 2?
@@scene.g0re I'm not op, but I thought this was the only line possible too before looking it up. For me Thane died in the suicide mission so I didn't have him in ME3.
Kai Leng can kill Thane/Kirrahe and/or Miranda depending on the circumstances
If Kai Leng doesn't kill any of these 3, the gunship line triggers
I believe so.
Evidently, Shepard doesn't care about the salarian councilor.
Well, Thane's entire ARC is about facing death...he is a character who 'has to die'
That's why I wasn't upset when he killed Thane.

If you choose synthesis, those onions are now partly synthetic and can feel the pain as you cut through them.
.
True story.
Bingo. Don't forget, that Thane was dying 'any day now'.
well the fact that he dies is sad as fuck, but he was dying in number 2 anyway. at least he died like a hero
He died like a worm, crawling on the ground.
I personally like this one the best. she doesn't sound in grief or angry at that point, she's just taunting him
So satisfying to watch... Ah, Kai Leng, the man, er, excuse me, worm the ME fanbase just loves to hate...
Hrm. This is what I got to see, but Thane was alive and he wasnt snubbed. So... dunno.
I like this dialogue better, just wish I could do it without kirrahe dying
would've cut his head off when he fell to his knees star wars style. bit dark i know but it would look awesome

I prefer me stabbing him and saying "That was for Thane, you son of a bitch."

That's if Kirrahe dies in ME1, Thane dies in ME2. or if Thane survives and you don't visit him when he's on the citadel in ME3.
The sword is thin to be more areodinamic for quicker swings and more power. Simple logic really
You know what, I think I prefer this one.
This is for RUINING A PERFECTLY GOOD SEQUEL, you son of a.
And Legion? Can we talk about poor Legion a little?
I was thinking the same lol
I LAUGH IN YOU FACE!!!!
how can he kill no one?
