You might want to check stuff by Nails, Thy Art Is Murder, The Acacia Strain (Sensory Deprivation), Fit For An Autopsy (first album 'Hellbound', later ones are different) or even something like "The Hammer Of The Witch" by Ringworm. The Possession EP by Rex is also pretty damn heavy. The Dillinger Escape Plan is also an obvious choice, but a different happy and not as much as rage.
It sounds shitty because it is shitty talentless dribble. It opens with a breakdown, then progresses to another almost exactly the same breakdown, and then for the break there is... you guessed it another breakdown, after that it progresses back to the breakdown and then finally for the end there is a huge breakdown.
