Incredible concept for a memorial, museum, and multi generational holocaust education centre to keep alive the history of the Nazi regime and it's impact on the lives of people. Bravo. Well done. Incredible work for the benefit of mankind. I just wonder what is likely the best known prisoner of Mauthausen, who is now deceased, Simon Weisenthal, would think of this. Thank you. Always remember. Never again.

Mauthausen is in Austria, near Linz.....SINCE the documentary just assumes everyone knows where it is and doesn't mention the location in the introduction. C minus for the producer and director.

Official representatives of Russia and Belarus will not be invited on May 15 to the ceremony on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp Mauthausen in Austria this year because of the Russian military special operation in Ukraine.
The ambassadors of the Russian Federation and Belarus in Vienna will be notified in writing, the Austrian Press Agency reported with reference to the chairman of the Austrian Mauthausen committee, Willy Merny. According to him, the participation of official representatives of the Russian Federation and Belarus "would be incompatible with the oath of the surviving prisoners of Mauthausen and their desire for peace and freedom."

The purpose of this documentary is kinda misleading. It just shows how Austrians are washing their hands off their dark past omitting their eternal guilt.
