For all of Amazon's bluster about strong female protagonists, their attempt utterly and catastrophically fails when compared to Eowyn's portrayal, even with a fraction of the screen time of what's her face from Rings of Power.
Came here after hearing your song recommended on Friday Night Tights. Awesome stuff, the Rohirrim and Theoden had so many epic scenes which this song does an excellent job of highlighting. Well done!👍
Incredible piece!! Absolutely brilliant! Very well done! This is by far one of your best, after my favorite one, which is the Gandalf anthem of course. If you put up a poll for voting, I'd say Saruman deserves a seat at the METAL table as well. Hails!
@@SpyCatsMusic Brilliant! Yeah of course mate. Thank you so much as well! These songs are most needed and they lift the spirits. Superbly crafted, amazing! Cheers to you! :)
01:57 The horn of Helm Hammerhand shall sound in the deep - one last time 🎷🎷🎷“ - let this be the hour when we draw swords together…🎷 That was perfectly made - great moment of metal history
I would be happy if Théoden were my king. I would be happy to fight next to him, shoulder to shoulder. Your people, sir, will follow you even to death. You are our king, sir!
This sequence, "Théoden Sings Metal" , and Gimli's DWARF-METAL sequence, are the best Examples of any member of Middle Earth at the end of the 3rd Age having the correct internal balance and raw personality traits to translate well into a successful Heavy Metal lyric that matches the music. Aragorn did not translate well, nor Sam, nor even Gandalf. But Gimli and Théoden handled "Metal" beautifully - because Tolkien made those two characters both Brave and Nihilistic - both Abandoned of All Hope, and yet still FILLED WITH HOPE. And though both Théoden and Gimli were surrounded by companions, they both felt Alone. And finally, both of them had something to prove: to their ancestors, to the world, and to themselves. These emotional and mental states are fertile fields for some great Heavy Metal expressions to flourish in. Now add to this, the fact that both Théoden and Gimli truly believed that they were responsible to exercise their rights to fight as warriors in Arms, having been given this responsibility by way of the expectations of their families, their race, and the halls that existed in the afterlife, where the fathers of their Ancestral Lineage awaited them for the judgment: "are you worthy" . All of these states of being could theoretically also be claimed by Denethor, Steward of Gondor. But in his case they did not work for any Awesome 3rd Age Heavy Metal compositions. Denethor had many of the right traits, just like Théoden and Gimli, but for Denethor they were all tainted. Yes, Denethor was a Nihilist like Théoden - but Denethor was also a Fatalist, and a Middle Earth Atheist (which meant NO ILLUVATAR, and NO UNDYING LANDS). Denethor was also driven into a manipulated despair by the visions he perceived thru the 'Palantíri', the "Seeing-Stone," which Sauron partially controlled. This weakened Denethor, and we all know that "True" and "Powerful" Heavy Metal 'Cannot Be Weak'. Thus, Théoden and Gimli alone are able to translate well, producing a true Heavy Metal lyric that matches the music perfectly, making Théoden and Gimli the first, and maybe the only real Heavy Metal Superstars in all of Middle Earth.
Thank you for your feedback and kind words, my friend. To be fully honest, I don't get a good feeling about using AI for the songs, because then it would not be the real performances from the source material. Maybe I'm being stubborn about it... I know sometimes it doesnt sound the best, but at least I know it's the real thing, you know?
Such a banger, my only complaint is it didnt include 'where was gondor when the westfold fell' but no seriously you are such am artist loving all of these 🤟 also the rohan theme in the backround and building off of it such a brilliant idea!
One of the best movie scenes ever combined with this great song. Amazing work! Don't forget the Ugluk and his Uruks song! Looks like meat's back in the menu boys!!
Best idea, pleeeeease make a witch king one. A lot of screeches, "you dont know death when you see itnold man". "No man can kill me" , "I will break him", "do not come between the nazgul and hisnprey" etc cool creepy lines and screeches! And the most metal edgy character :D
This has to be your best one yet! It genuinly brought tears to my eyes, beautiful and powerful at the same time. Gandalf is my second favorite after this. Can't wait to see what you will do with Saruman!
Excellent song. I think I just found a group I will treasure. One tiny criticism, though. Please, do not use all caps when writing on the thumbnails with the Ringbearer font. The font was never made for that and it looks terrible. Just use the first letter of a word as uppercase, and then all others in the aforementioned word as lowercase. Please. For the love of all that is unholy. If not for me, do it for Tolkien. D:
This is what Metallica would sound like if they lived in Middle Earth. The acoustic intro had Nothing Else Matters vibes, and the thrash guitars continued to remind me of Metallica.
At the first hearing, I was hesitant because I found it a little bit under-your-standards, but clearly, it was a mistake, because with a lot more hearings, the theoden song appears definitely as a masterpiece of ... rock-'n-ride metal.

Rest in Peace King Theoden … RiP - Bernard Hill
This song should reach #1. What a banger!
I see more epicness in this than in whole amazon's rings of power.
I haven't watched it yet... I was discouraged by all I seen about it lol
@@SpyCatsMusic sometimes not all the questions deserves answers. 😅
@@SpyCatsMusicDo not corrupt your eyes! I have watched several in depth reviews and it is utter dung! A foul desecration of Tolkien!

Rest in Peace, my King.
A sword day!
A red day!
I think Theoden has the most stirring lines in the Lord of the Rings. This metal song did him justice.
Thank you! 🤘
This is the DEFINITION of Justice!
Or he secretly aims to hunt some virgins. Sword day, Red day.... dangerous to read between the lines....
RIP Bernard Hill in the halls of his fathers.

Same. Awesome song.
Dude this is the coolest shit I've seen in a while, absolutely brilliant!

This is a perfect tribute to Theodin. I imagined his last battle in the books while listening to this.
Thank you so much for supporting! I'm really glad you enjoyed the song 🤘
Forth Eorlingas !!

"THE HORN OF HELM HANMERHAND SHALL SOUND IN THE DEEP... One last time!"
This is unironically pretty good. A little bit robotic, but miles better than any of the other songs.
Long live the King. May you rest in the Halls of Mandos in peace and tranquility
