Yup, when I get a new rank I use potions for 5 levels, leaving the last 5 for runs to fill. I've actually never played a game where you got xp pots for running maxed units, have played 10-15 character collectors.
The UI and assets look almost identical to dragon heir but playing it on pc its been okay so far. Definitely didn't know about the xp thing which is good to know going forward thank you.
I did realize this, so I have been only taking my champions to half level, when I advance them, but now Im not going to unless they cant pass content. Ive been playing watcher of realms for a while, but when I didnt see bonus EXp, i figured they were more raidlike.

I totally forgot about that fact although I should have noticed that remove a maxed out hero notation in the farming mode. Thanks Suzie

Raid player here used to it but as you progress you cant beat it the enemies with low lvs heros im stuck at adventure ch 5
