I'm a 19 year old centrist at a very very liberal college (look us up. ucsc us #1 in the nation for liberalism) and someone in my hall found out im not a liberal and now no one will speak to me anymore. The only place I found friends was the college republicans club of all places. It's hard to be trans but it's even harder when your whole community shuns you over something that shouldn't be relavant. Thank you for being so tolerant. We need more faces like yours representing our community

I’m American and I live in the UK and I noticed in general British trans people are much more on the conservative side socially than the American trans people that I know. I think it’s because American conservatives are more to the extreme right, so if you’re lgbt, u have to b on the left cuz the right isn’t accepting in most cases. In the UK, the Conservative party is not as much like conservatives in the US, they’re much more centrist. So people feel comfortable identifying with the UK Conservative party. And with being trans, they have much more traditional ideas of what a man and what a woman should be.
Actually you'd be surprised how accepting most conservatives are. Just people think they are racist or homophobic when they actually aren't. One of my best friends is a conservative and so is his family and they all accept me and treat me like there family and they know im trans. You just gotta give people a chance.
@@lw6020 I hardly can think of examples until my liberal friends discuss topics, the only thing i can think of is that i'm monogamous & that's considered quite conservative nowadays idk? No it's not religious beliefs, i'm agnostic LOL

Hamamelis Witchhazel It's more like socially conservative, it has more to do with family values, relationships..etc not much politics
