zinnia zahara starlight rose often looks mostly white and it's underwhelming because it's like a plain white daisy, the promo photos for that flower show way more pink
Thank you for sharing!
Great video as time goes on they looked more and more gorgeous. Did you fertilize after the seeds grew for 30 days or so?
I think I fertilized later since the soil was rich enough (maybe week 6 or 7), but it won't hurt if you start fertilizering lightly earlier, specially if you notice plants show slowing in growth. Hope this helps and thank you for your comment!
@@TowardGarden Incredibly done. Thank you for the input. Happy Spring and stay cool this summer ;- ) Cheers
Thanks nice video
Thank you very much for your comment!
Awesome 👏🏼 thanks for sharing!
Will it be too late to sow seeds in ground directly now in June?
Absolutely not. Zinnia grows well in summer time too. Actually I have seedlings from seeds planted in ground couple of weeks ago. Happy growing and thank you very much for your comment!
@@TowardGarden oh that’s great to know! Thanks so much! 💐🙏🏼
Is there no need for pinching because they are the mini variety?
Yes, this variety grow more bushy and branches off easily. Thanks for getting in touch!
New subscriber here. Where do you buy this dwarf variety of Zinnia?
This variety is called "Zinnia Raspberry Lemonade Mix" which I got it from Burpee www.burpee.com/zinnia-raspberry-lemonade-mix-prod001532.html?queryID=e03dcd0a2670baf765a05238eda11ce9&objectID=15818&indexName=burpee_production_default_products. What size drill bit are those holes? Pots from Home Depot?
I used 1/2" drill bit. Yes the pots are from the Home depot. Thanks.
Hello
Did you Pinch them?😊
No, this variety grows bushy and doesn't need any pinching or pruning. Thank you for visiting!

What's the ratio for compost + peat + perlite please? And I only have 7" pots.. How many dwarf ones can I fit in one pot?
Hi. They can be equal parts, or you use 40% compost, 40% peat moss, 20% perlite. For a 7" pot I think max 2 plants will be ok. Hope this helps and thank you for getting in touch!
@@TowardGarden thank you! I really appreciate you getting back to me 😊
@@pinoytransboy Glad to be of any help. Happy gardening😊
What variety of zinnias did you plant in your pots?
This variety is called "Zinnia Marylandica", and the mix I planted is Zinnia Raspberry Lemonade Mix from Burpee. Thank you for visiting!
I live in hot climate, could i grow it inside air conditioned room??
They are ok with hot climate too, just keep them watered. But if you want to grow them inside, you can do that if they will get plenty of sunlight. Happy growing and thank you for getting in touch!
@@TowardGarden oh thank you for replying me, it's a pleasure, thanks for the advise. Have a great day
@@TowardGarden is the same goes for onion? Should i water it more than one time a day if the climate not that cold? Thanks again
If you see the soil is dry (at 1" deep), then yes. but generally onions will be ok with watering once a day.@@maometto6812
