Yup so basically, little bit of backstory, he's originally from the kpop group UNIQ and they had their last comeback together with EOEO in 2015 (but apparently they're not disband). After that he participated in SMTM and released solo stuff under the name of LUIZY (his english name he had since he lived in Brazil). He released both vocal and rap work. He then changed his solo name to Woodz (with Different, Pool, Meaningless etc). He is also part of the crew M.O.LA (a collective of artist) along with Jamie, Kino from Pentagon, Vernon from Seventeen, Producer Nathan and guitarist HoHo (who did the hook for Feel Like btw). After that he participated in Produce x 101 and re-debuted in kpop group X1 but due to mnet scandal they disbanded in their first year...Theeeen he came back solo with his first album EQUAL (a masterpice btw) ! Glad you liked it ! He's an all-rounder musician, producer, singer, rapper, dancer and his whole discography is chef kiss 👌
Also i forgot to mention that he is a very respected producer and produced songs for multiple kpop group and solo artist :)
And he was also good soccer player in brazil. But he choose music

Different is my favorite release from him!! He’s so unique (no pun intended lmao) and such an underrated soloist. He’s my ult soloist actually, when I saw him in X1 and then heard me love me harder last year I was HOOKED.
Also for anyone who doesn’t get the pun, he first debuted as a member of the group UNIQ :)

I agree with people who recommend watching the Accident live clip cause it's wild. I also feel like you're gonna really like BUCK, it's a more rap/hip-hop heavy song and it's really fun but it's a b-side so it doesn't have an MV

also another solo artist recommendation is kim woo seok and i'm convinced you're gonna love him. his debut album was legit my most listend to album of the year and the title track 'red moon' is just sexy haha
woodz / cho seungyoun debut as main rapper in uniq and was main vocal of x1 he sings raps dances writes and produces his music,,,hes truly an amazing artist and does just about every genre of music from ballads to pop to hiphop to rnb !

Feel like is freaking EARGASM in 3:17 minutes. So sultry and sexy. The best song from a soloist this year so far for me. Also, I haven't heard that kind of sound in kpop before.

Bro everyone who finds out about him hate themselves for sleeping and not checking him out earlier lmaoo.. do yourselves a favor and stop sleeping. He's just so good and I seen somebody else mentioned it but his first project after x1, the equal album was one of the best solo releases of 2020. The whole thing is still in heavy rotation and he released live clips for some of the songs on there you should definitely check it out

You really really should check out SUMIN!! I’d start with her mv for Your Home and her OO DA DA mv which is a medley of that whole EP. she’s immensely underrated. No one ever reacts to her despite her incredible talent.

yeeeesss! Different is such a good song! One of my top favorites from 2018! And I'm loving Feel Like! I'm so glad he's been doing stuff since UNIQ's hiatus is lasting soooo long.
I'm not sure if you have it planned but I looked and you haven't reacted to P1Harmony, yet. They debuted back in October with Siren, BUT their b-side Nemonade is---- let's just say I highly recommend it! Honestly their whole mini-album was really unexpected to me! It's really interesting and _the range!_ Though, it's really short. I've been trying to catch up on debuts and comebacks from last year and I can't believe how late I am with some of this stuff, but better late than never!

Check out his group UNIQ (they're inactive atm because of China-Korea relations) and their totally different discography, and then his solo debut as a rapper under the name Luizy and then with X1 as Cho Seungyeon and WOODZ since 2016. Something you should know - he writes and composes all his songs. Every. Single. One. And his and UNIQ's songs are all SO DIFFERENT from what was popular at the time and from one another.
