Man, I remember watching this game and rooting for the upset. Detroit really got caught slipping in this series. They thought they were gonna come out and just sweep them, and it NEARLY backfired. Imagine if Cleveland ended up winning this game, the outcry that would have occurred in Detroit. Luckily for Detroit, they stayed tough. I remember in the final minute of the game, Rasheed pulled down like 3 consecutive offensive rebounds, which drained a lot of clock time. I remember Chauncey also hit a tough shot to beat the shot clock buzzer.
What ill always remember about this game is how the Pistons got TONS of offensive rebounds in the 4th quarter in the final 2 minutes. It was just unreal I really wanted to see a Cavs-Lebron vs Wade-Heat East Finals in 2006
Cant believe they couldn’t close out the series at home!!! Game 6 you beat the Pistons then face the Heat in the conference finals. Not sure how it could’ve went but had the Cavs made it to the finals in 06’ that would be actually way more impressive then 07’ team because that was Lebrons first playoff run. That accomplishment would be undeniable but he would’ve choked against the Mavs anyways Ze Clerk as I call him has brons number.
This was the same pistons team that beat Shaq, Kobe Lakers.. they were supposed to lose in 5. They had no business beating the pistons. Would’ve got stomped by the heats. Nobody was going to stop Wade
lebron james has had a WAY overrated career not facing legends like jerry west larry bird magic johnson michael jordan kareem abdul-jabbar oscar robertson wilt chamberlain and bill russell
@@Jcy23 stephen curry hasn't equaled rick barry john havlicek and bob cousy let alone the legends i mentioned including the goats wilt chamberlain and bill russell
Nobody mentions Hakeem the dream who was in Jordan’s era, the Dream would’ve taken Lebron to school defensively, but not offensively because LeBron would never guard him. A lot of people speculate that Jordan was shook of Hakeem. I think even Jordan himself said the only guy in his time he was wary of was Hakeem.

Yes and that happened in the finals the next game 3 v spurs. When you got a young tall team, you need to rebound in the clutch
Man I wished lebron were to win this game… amazing upload as always
Thank you again Manni
Larry Hughes did not play due to mourning over the death of his brother
If cavs won this game, we would have seen Lebron square off against prime Wade in the next round. Shame.
Yup but instead the Heat had to avenge their lost to the Pistons in the 2005 ECF
Damn I didn’t even think about that. Sheeeshh Lebron would’ve had a crazy tough road to the Finals.
It is what it is.
Had that same opportunity in 2009 and 2010
@@Blaxican3624the Cavs weren't beating that Miami Heat team to get to the Finals.
Man he was mad clutch in this series!!!!

This was the greatest crowd I’ve witness

And he would've easily get destroyed by the Heat
Easily? If Pistons had trouble stopping him what makes you think Heat would do any better?
@@Blaxican3624 Heat was a much better team. I don't see the Heat stopping Lebron, but I doubt the Cavs would have beaten them.
