took me 3 listens to realize that this is pure Scar Symmetry and that I wasnt expecting

It was though. Pretty fire. This song definitely slapped
Ricky actually sang the cleans on this one. Especially in the Chorus. You can hear Ricky and Chris' voices overlap at times in the chorus which adds a different element to their sound. I am 100 down for that. I think this is the best they have ever sounded. 10/10 in my book! They did it a little in the Disguise album, in /code I think. And I'm certain in Creature X as well. If anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, pls do so.
After listening to it a few times, I’m fairly confident it goes likes this:
Prechorus: Ricky
1st chorus: Chris
First half second chorus: Ricky
Second half second chorus: Chris
Third chorus: Chris
Outro: Chris & Ricky
Really cool to hear Ricky get some time to shine on this one
You’ll find all 4 have vocal parts is now chris has encouraged ryan and Justin to do more vocal tracks as well as chris and Ricky
@@ChildishTrandino you are correct. That's what I got out of listening to it 30 times lol cause I was trying to figure it out. The 2nd chorus is definitely ricky cause to me it sounds different then the first chorus . I think he does the whole 2nd chorus. But I could be wrong .

Chris put out an update video on the MIW Channel today that they're working on a new album. This track is a one-off bridge track between the last album and the new one. It won't be on the new album. Great track!

When I first heard it, def felt the AILD vibes to the song. Def a song that I would continue to blast.

Been a fan of MiW basically since they started and can easily say this is one of my fav tracks now. Definitely one of those bands that just gets better and better the older they get
Idk how you can say that with a straight face. Their creatures album has never come close to being topped and they’ve gotten insanely worse with age

the fact that they used drop F is kinda insane. that's a tuning I don't hear very often. anything between drop G and drop D is what I'm used to, but I gotta say, it's pretty cool and interesting

I think Wage War use it on Low and Who I Am, maybe other songs too. Also Attack Attack on The Hopeless, The Abduction and The Wretched.
Within the ruins use G and F almost exclusively on everything after he joe switched to 7 strings
Crystal Lake have also used Drop F on a lot of their music (among some other tunings too)
Drop F is pretty common nowadays, but Motionless has never used anything below Drop A before so this is definitely new territory for them.
This song and Lorna shores EP are just breathtaking. It’s my birthday on Monday so I’m so happy my 2 fave bands have unintentionally given me some awesome early birthday gifts. 💣👻🖤

unfortunately this song won't be on the new album but chris said that they will try to get the album out around early 2022 but doesn't know enough to confirm anything else about the release. so this should hold us off until the album

I initially heard this the other day, and I was also taken aback by the cleans on this track, but I absolutely love this track! Despite it being a completely new track, it felt very nostalgic because it had that style of early 2000s metalcore that slowly got me into heavier, and heavier styles of metal that I just love.
I already loved their last album too, now they're just upping it even more gawd dang

Ricky sang pre chorus and then first chorus with Chris and then the rest of the choruses from that point. Rick also made the animation for the video. Justin DeBleik produced it and Drew Fulk put his magic on it. All round AMAZING
