Need to speak louder , have caption setting and or transcript to follow . I'm hard of hearing . Hope I can figure it out .
Start w/ magic ring and 5 single crochet, slip-stitch to first stitch, chain one
row 2- increase all around (2 single crochet in each one) end up with 10 sc, slip-stitch and chain one
r3- one single crochet increase, one sc in next stitch, alternate for the rest of the stitches with one stitch being an increase and the next just a sc, ss and chain one at the end
r4- 2sc increase, increase and so on until end of row, ss and chain one
r5-3sc, inc, and so on until end of row, ss and chain one
r6- 4sc, inc, repeat for rest of row, ss and chain one at the end
r7- 11 sc, half double crochet increase (2 hdc in the same stitch), 2hdc, hdc inc, 2 hdc, hdc inc, single crochet the rest of the row, ss and chain one
r8- 12 sc, double crochet increase for next 9 stitches, sc to the end, ss and chain 3, 3 triple crochets back into the same stitch and that’s the end of the petal
make 4 petals
for leaf,
chain 11, working sc into the second chain from the hook, hdc, dc, (triple crochet increase, triple crochet)x2, dc, hdc, sc
turn to other side by doing sc into same stitch , hdc, dc, (triple crochet, triple crochet increase)x2, dc, hdc, sc, ss to first stitch on other side and chain one
insert wire into the chain you just made
13 sc, adjust wire as shown in video 20:27 , chain 1, sc into the same stitch, sc until the end, ss to the first stitch and chain one,
next row is chain one, ss into next stitch and repeat until you get to the point, hdc and dc into same stitch, still in the same stitch, chain 3 and ss into second ch from hook, ss into next ch, go into the loops of the hdc and the dc and pull yarn through both of them (not a slip-stitch all the way though) and complete w/ a single crochet (24:29 - 24.38 in video), then hdc into the same stitch and ss into next stitch and go back to chain 1, ss pattern until the end
ss into first stitch, cut and tie , leaving enough yarn to wrap around the rest of the wire

When crocheting the little "end" portion of the rose petal, it looks like you are doing 3 triples crochets (US terms) in addition to the chain 3. Is that right?

I think I used the wrong size yarn and hook. But it turned out beautiful. I used worsted weight yarn and 3.5mm hook. Going to go smaller on the next one

For my flowers and toys I always use smaller hooks then recommended for the yarn type. ☺️
I am going to make a couple bigger ones to put on wreaths, they are gorgeous no matter what size they are. First flower I have made that turned out looking like a flower 🌹

What size hook are you using
I believe it’s 2.75 mm.
How do you do an increase stitch?
To increase you need to crochet two in one stitch. To decrease you need to crochet two together.
