Hello there, why two BUV's? Don't you use just one for the whole home, right at the entry point from the street just inside the home? Would the 2nd one be used to allow weeping tile water to continue to the street and prevent sewer back up into the weeping system?

Add the logical necessity of installing an alarm in this system, and you'll know right away if the sewer begins to back up on you. Otherwise, you might not know until the next lowest drain in your house begins to overflow from your own house water draining. The alarms now are blue tooth and notify you on your phone.

I bought one of this and the clear cover is cracked, where can I get parts for it? I am afraid if the water backs up it might come out thru the crack. Thanks for your help

should be charging the city for this (currently looking for an attorney) ~ its their fault your line is backing up. Pressure from the last storm blew a hole through my Floor!

But doesn't this mean your dirty water will be held and backed up in your pipes now that that trap closes. Why hasn't anyone thought of this?

it's only for max couple of hours of heavy raining and for that period of time drain pipes are big enough to act as tank and hold the waste..
