Hi @Mygraybear!! Wowwwwwwww I am SPEECHLESS!!! HK students are really amazingggg!!! The perseverance you guys have!!!! I am originally from HK as well so I am fully aware of the pain you guys go through! My parents decided to move to Australia 7 years ago (after primary 4), so that we don't have to go through HK's crazy education system and study pressure. I thought studying in Australia would be much easier and relaxing but I never thought of how hard having to learn English would be. When I first moved to Australia, I was soooooo SHOCKED to learn that Australian kids don't have to do homework or study on weekends, they just play all the time and can go to bed at 7pm. But of course when other people were playing, I had to stay indoors and study because I was so behind on English to the point where I would have zero idea what my teachers were saying. So ever since moving to Australia, I felt like I didn't live, I only studied. To this day, (I am now in form5) English is still soooo hard for meee. Compare to my classmates, I take like 10x longer to finish schoolwork. (Recently, I counted that it took me 4 full days to write a 900 word essay!!!) 😭This is how slow I am! I can relate a little bit to you guys, I am always so sleep deprieved, have no time for eating, hobbies, exercises, friends and socialising and my mental health is just so terrible. But you guys probably have it much tougherrrrr than I can ever imagine, especiallyyy the pressure that's put on you guys to always be no.1 at everything. So whenever things get hard or I feel really sun fu, I will think of all the HK students because you guys are my inspiration to keep goingggg!!! I want every HK student to know that you all have my FULL RESPECT!!!! My sincere congratulationssssssssss to you on finishing DSE and all the best for your future @mygraybear!!! 🥳I have no idea how you guys do thissss!!! P.s.
