Dark Enchantress reminds me of Stain from My Hero Academia. They have eye-opening realizations of how corrupt the world is along with similar end goals, but act on their overwhelming feelings of betrayal and anger in the worst way possible. Stain through the murder of innocent people as rebellion to how members of hero society prioritize those of a higher status, and Dark Enchantress through seeing the witches eat her cookie brethren in front of her two eyes and developing the idea of how cookies should succumb to the darkness for survival; to liberate non-cookies, who are painted as monsters by cookiekind, and give them a better society to live in than the one currently established; to bring fear into those evil witches by whatever means necessary.

Something about Reverend Mother Cookie just rubs me the wrong way. Her character raises a lot of red flags, and quite a lot of her lines are almost 'brainwashing' in nature (most especially on the last part). Even Pastry Cookie is starting to have doubts about what they stood for. Add: I came into this game thinking it's just about collecting cute cookies. OK, my theory time. I think that her childhood isn't healthy. She seems very afraid of Reverend Mother when she found Pastry praying after the prayers. Also, she probably doesn't sleep well, since it's said that she has a bad time waking up in the morning. And probably wasn't fed very well, since one of her lines is "A piece of bread and some milk is more than enough." Why would she ever think that?

They're excellent foils of one another, each one manipulated in a different way with different intent. Both of them serve things that are truly awful now, but believe in what they fight for. It just so happens Red Velvet has a far more tangible grounding in his cause, being half-cake himself and still offering his enemy kindness.

I think the reason white lily thought that cookies were made to be eaten was because she thought cookies like her which contained life powder that made them living and cookies with no life powder (hollow shells) were the same. We learn this from Beast-Yeast EP1 through Elder Faerie's sacrifice

But you can’t really blame Pastry though, she was tricked and manipulated by reverend mother, getting led into the wrong direction.
They're excellent foils of one another, each one manipulated in a different way with different intent.
Both of them serve things that are truly awful now, but believe in what they fight for.
It just so happens Red Velvet has a far more tangible grounding in his cause, being half-cake himself and still offering his enemy kindness.

5. What are Shadow Sister's intentions on Pastry Cookie, and was she already aware that Pastry Cookie would start to have doubts and question of who they really are?
