Don’t forget Zabit (unfortunately retired), Adlan Amagov (the original Borz who could outstrike Jon Jones as a WW, extremely good with kicks), Mokaev, Zaid Nurmagomedov and “King of Kung Fu” himself Muslim Salikhov who was one of the only two non-Chinese world Sanda champ (he’s old now though)

Only Dagestani who put all his skill points in Striking rather then wrestling and I love it. Bro is quick, those leg kicks are always welcome plus he is really dangerous on the clinch. He is the middle weight version of Zabit. A pure Dagestani striker 🔥🔥

The other fighter instantly understands he is in the $hit. Mixing his various kicks...many to soften the lead leg inside-outside. They are painful as hell. Then bring in knees to the solar plexus-liver as his hands pull your head down...Formidable guy. It seems like the "stan" countries really births tough intelligent fighters. My hat is off to them.

Don't let the high level kicking make you miss the fact that he has an amazing left jab to the head and body.

Sure his stand up is great but from what we have seen his ground game is questionable.
He is smart af. He knows his distance and his opponents weak points. He has a diversified attacking skills. His kicks are accurate. He likes the stand up game which shows he lacks the ground game. If he improves his ground skills, he would be unstoppable i guess.
I was wondering about the ground game, because none of these fights were shown on the mat. But the Dagestani's are known for their wrestling, so I wouldn't be surprised if he can wrestle.

He can wrestle too. Not on a super super high level like Khabib or Islam but similar to a Zabit. He just prefers to stand as would anybody who is more skilled in that area.

Master of the counter kick. You can see a few times where opponent was baffled. Some straight up "which one of y'all kicked me?" moments.

The mma consensus is that kicking a lot as in a style, doesn't work. It actually does, obviously. You just have to find a way that works effectively and efficiently. And this guy is a great example of kicking offense excellently.

He looks very good at controlling distance and hammering his opponents with a variety of kicks and relentless knees to the body in the clinch, while minimising damage. Seems to only strike with his hands to go in for the kill when he has his opponents on the ropes. Very hard to defend if you can kick so well from range. Not sure about his take down defence from these highlights but whenever an opponent tried he made them pay big time in the clinch.
Doesn't look impressive at all especially throwing the same kicks in the same motion over and over part. any top 15 in the UFC would smoke him right now if this is all he got.

I am looking at footage of Shara for the first time, but for now I only see good kicks. Not sure how he will do in the UFC. Does he have a great foundation of Dagestani wrestling aswell?
