I love the simplicity and ease with the making of this ice cream, however I find the amount of sugar in the condensed milk makes it far too sweet for my tastes. Would I be able to achieve a similar result if I used less condensed milk? Or would it not work properly? Great recipe and for those with a sweet tooth it would be heaven. Thank your for a great recipe. Cheers

Yes, you can use less condensed milk and replace with whipping cream, you will have the same taste and texture with less sweetness. That's it.
