I just learned recently that African elephants get their name from their ears, which are the shape of Africa! Who knew!? 😮
Love your new release the elephant 🐘 is so adorable! Have a wonderful weekend and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
great explanation of satin stitches; thank you. An adorable elephant; I enjoy visiting w/you!
I like this series and this one looks like fun to do too! Thank you for telling us about the stitch! Please do this more often as it helps me in stitching!
Lovely video, Stephanie! Elephant 🐘 is the best..I have been an admirer of them since I was a little girl just an amazing creature ..I have quite a unique collection of them …I no longer collect . Thanks for sharing satin stitch such a beautiful stitch to add to a piece.
Happy Easter…🤗🌷🌷🐘
Thanks so much for this tutorial! You really simplified it. I love this pattern!!! Elephants are one of my favorite animals and I was very happy to see him when I opened my package. Thank you!!!!!!
In a satin stitch, the thread on the reverse side of the fabric is not wasted! Glad you mentioned that the hidden thread holds the stitches evenly. Great projects & tutorial!
Maybe it’s Maybelline! 🤣 Talk about advertising at its finest. ❤ I wasn’t aware of this series. I’m gonna have to check it out, because my eye lashes could definitely use advice from this darling elephant. And I love satin stitches and have plenty of beautiful palms fronds in my backyard. Thanks!!
Loving this series! Great tutorial, thank you! While I wouldn’t have done the “shortcut”, now I know why one shouldn’t do it! I, too, had a chuckle at humorous quips. 😂❤ Til next time…
Very nice tutorial especially about not taking a shortcut which really does ruin the look of satin stitch. One thing to add is to take about double or a bit more length of floss because, as you noted, really eat up the thread quickly. Starting out with a longer thread helps to avoid having to figure out where to end so often. I learned how to do satin stitch as a kid so I've never hesitated using it or several other specialty stitches I learned back then. My sisters and I practiced these stitches over and over again challenging one another on who could do the best.
I didn't know about this series. It's wonderful! I'll be doing some shopping soon!
I've always loved to satin stitch. My friends hate it. So I do those portions of their samplers!
Thanks! Satin stitch is my nemesis!
Thank you for the tutorial. I love your elephant 🐘.
We missed you!
Love the quilty look on the animals! Kinda Jim Shore ish but more subtle.
Beautiful elephant ❤
I seriously know of no other human being who could end their presentation with "trunk taps" and have it sound perfectly normal! Great tips - thanks Stephanie.
Oh my goodness. I love the elephant! And the dimension that the satin stitch gives.
Great tutorial - I’m loving this club❤️
Wonderful tutorial Steph. I love it...especially the lashes on that cute elephant. Count me in.
Thanks... You made it look so easy !!!
Great video! Loving stitching the elephant and the use of the variegated threads. I’ll have to reach into my hoop stash for the satin stitch - I don’t know when I last used one!
Thank you for the tutorial.
Thanks for the tutorial.
Great tutorial, Thanks!!!!!! 🙂
I love using embroidery stitches with cross stitch! Thanks for the tips!

Love your elephant. Thank you for the tutorial. So helpful.
The elephant is so adorable.
Maybe it's Mabeline. 😅 Hilarious. I love your videos
Great tutorial!!!
I love your new designs! ❤
Stephanie, Great tutorial!! As a newbie stitcher these "specialty" stitches are quite nerve wracking! This tutorial was very easy to understand and greatly diminished the intimidation factor of these stitches.
I personally cannot afford the financial commitment to the whole club, however I am wondering if these absolutely beautiful patterns will ever be available for sale individually?? That way one could still get them, but not all at once. I absolutely love 💕💕💕 these patterns so I am hoping that the answer to my question is a resounding yes!!
I hope that You and Your family have a wonderful Easter.
Sincerely,
Linda
Opoohhhh I need that elephant!
Love ❤️ your elephant!!
Love this elephant. If I sign up today for the Endangered Species Club, will I get the Elephant pattern?
