Tanya is one of my favorite artists of all time! They don’t make them like her anymore! A truly iconic voice!
I am 62 yrs old. Born and raised in NYC. Only 1 country music station existed in NYC. No one in my circles listened to C.M., now COUNTRY MUSIC has flipped my existence! WOW!! Talk about crossing over and being inclusive!! And a lot of Johnny Cash is DEEP!
I love that they included Johnny Cash speaking on Tanya’s new song back in the 70’s. A legend that we miss, and a Legend still here and keeping country music alive.

I seen her when she was 15, in southeast Kentucky. In the 90's, I went across a mountain to Tennessee and seen her concert. Delta Dawn is her song.

Delta Dawn was written by Alex Harvey,. He was a phenomenal songwriter who also wrote hits for Kenny Rogers, Three Dog Night, Anne Murray. The song is about his mother who suffered from mental illness and committed suicide when he was twelve.

This song divides the real Country artists from the Fake ones. When you watch the crowd sing, you will see some artists sing to the song, and some ‘artists’ will be wondering who’s on stage
Its amazes me how just a few short yrs ago, she was so down on her luck, that she was selling everything that she Owned, -- a Harley motorcycle, , a wadrobe of all the clothes she wore on stage, &;much more, it was sad too see her like that!! 🙁 the place she lived!! & she looked terriable( I think she was still drinking) her face was badly wrinkled- up!! & it was Brandi Carlile, after seeing & hearing of Tanya's perdicament,, got hold of her to do a song with her * to get her back to on the right track Again!!! & Look. At her NOW!! Back singing again!! -- She has def, HAD a make- over, with some surgery, & her hair DID NOT turn white like that overnight!!! In her latest song/video about the old cowboy, her was NOT Snow White !!! They reallu did her up for this Preformance🤗 she looks good for bein as old as she is!!!! -- She even said in as interveiw, that the drugs & Alcohol did a toll on her body-- WOW!!would have thought she was already in the CM- HALL OF FAME!! thats CRAZY3🤪🎶🎶🎵
Love Tanya Tucker. Sad that the "current" stars didn't know this song. Of course they aren't really country anyway. That's why I don't listen to todays country music.
Little Big Town did an awesome job harmonizing with Tanya Tucker. Tanya’s voice sounds beautiful but the makeup artist didn’t do a good job with her make-up.
