In Mar'23 a Notary Public agreement was done in Lr Court, Ghy regarding sale of a plot of land and 55% of the sale amount was taken by the seller from the buyer with an assurance that by Dec '23 the plot of land will be handed over to the buyer against clearance of the balance sum. However, it was later realised that the seller had taken a loan from a bank under the same Dag number but the Patta clearance was there. Till date no Sale Deed has been applied although the buyer reminded the seller in Oct'23 that he was ready with the rest of the amount for the plot of land. Unfortunately the agreement didnot contain any time line of sale nor had any witness when the signature was done in the Gauhati lower court in the frnt of the NOtary Public. It was signed on each page by the seller and buyer. What can be done? Can I call you after 7 PM regarding a solution in this case?
