I so appreciate everything you said at the end of your video. I have a 7-week-old, and I'm terrified of RSV right now. And just the breastfeeding support and mom-support points you make, I couldn't agree more. I've been finding your channel really helpful and inspiring since having my little one, thank you!
Amazon had solar lights for outside so we are using those for the windows this year, I love them. As far as the new MOM support, I 100% agree. Mom's just need a moment and having someone to hold their little one so they can go wee is amazing. I will always be eternally grateful to my mother in law for that. My children never saw the inside of a store til they were over a year old because Grandma was there to keep watch and keep them away from the germs.
I really understand your angst re infant health in the triple endemic season. We’ve been mostly isolating since Covid. Our daughter is immunocompromised and due Christmas and her daughter will not have a strong immune system for a while. We need to stay well so we can offer support. Already plan to bring a few freezer meals and haveoffered to wash diapers. You darling, have brought hours of entertainment, wisdom and connection to the green island. Many of your viewers would love to reciprocate. If you had an Amazon wish list linked in the drop down box and didn’t make a big kerfuffle about it, maybe those who want to could help ease the way until extreme budgeting is past.
I’m enjoying your Vlogmas, thank you! However, I am watching them a bit out of order and a bit delayed - so I am late to comment on this one. I just had to say though that I feel you would be a truly amazing doula (and anything related to that). I was really struck by how wonderful you would be in a role like that, when you mentioned it.
Grace, I've got to think that people would love to gift you and James and baby babble this season. How can we best do that? Guessing that $$ would really be welcome. (Not US dollars, of course...)
Yay for breast feeding. I think women are unprepared for the amount of work and struggles that are part of it. And so many people are uncomfortable with women’s bodies…
Very true. I think We don’t see it happening too so women don’t know what it’s like. Then they are shocked by how hard it can be and they give up. The community knowledge and support isn’t there anymore. It’s very difficult for us.
Also, you're absolutely right, support is key xx
I’m sure your open conversation resonates with many new moms out there. You provide support and encouragement to reach out for assistance. 😊

Ah Hannah! Congratulations! Reach out in the dms if you need any support!! Any silly questions. Reach out!

That’s a little idea …
Sorry she's not been feeling well Grace xx

Aw thank you. I hope I would be able to advocate for women
We always said 'weakly and angish' when we had some sort of non specific malaise. I'd say it's an Irish thing.
Yeah!!

Oh I’m not sure I could ask that. Just watching the videos is generous enough.
@@GraceTheBabbler You're not asking. I am. ;-)
I’m in the US and My family says I get hangry when I haven’t eaten. I’m not sure if that is the same as angish.
Not quite. I get hangry too. But this is more whiney/moody/tired
