Good video on Testing two more of these Cheap blades on this bonaire 16" table that high velocity sound is one of my favorites even on high speed I enjoyed the video bro
@@nightchrome1076 Beside the noise, everything goes fine. Though it has 5 blades, each blade is smaller. So the overall performance is more or less the same.
I bought some fan blades off aliexpress, and they were bent out of shape and I couldn't even really test them, but I did also get one that has aluminum blades & it works really well.
I have the 12" version of this fan as well, the blade cap is totally different and the blade itself is white and a different shape. It's possible they used a different blade set on the 16" one, but I'm not completely convinced.
I wonder how fast the 3 wing blade would run on the SMC stand fan since it has a stronger motor conpared to these other fans. Glad yours came in good shape despite the warping on some of those other blades because mine came in broken because who knows what object was placed on top of it and had to return it.
Just out of curiosity, could you try testing the SF-16 Windmere blade? I think that would make it comparable to the KD-16 and other Windmere models that this fan is based off of. BTW, I’m impressed w/ how well the white blade fit on there. Good stuff.
Question is though, metal vs plastic blades? Do metal blades cool better due to being metal? Google says there is no difference. But logic argues metal would keep the air cooler than plastic as it will absorb the cold and keep the blades cool thus colder air. Vs plastic which I don't think absorbs as well..?
A bottle of cleaner like simple green or even just some water and a paper towel would take care of the dirt on that fan blade in less than 1 minute - problem resolved. Critiquing a new product as being unacceptable simply because it is dusty/dirty is unreasonable in my opinion. Products are produced by the manufacturer in either sit in their warehouse or in the warehouse of the wholesalers before going to the end user. While it would be nice if whoever you bought the blade from had wiped it down the dust certainly does not detract from the performance. The fact that the shaft size seems to be smaller than a standard fan does make me wonder if their tolerances for production leave something to be desired or if it is made specifically for a different make/model of fan motor.
I will gladly clean a used product upon receipt, but not a new, unused one. These blades were very cheap and are of poor quality, I'm sure the manufacturing tolerance is absurdly poor.
I do want to say that clear 16 inch blade does look nice on the Bionare fan. Thanks for the video!
You're welcome.

Thanks
so glad to see that blade has a new home on that fan and now its more powerful with its air flow i enjoyed the video bro
True it is working better now, I think it's probably more like the original blade the fan came with.
The more you have blads the more you have stability... But weight of blads also matter alot for a better flow & power consumption
Thanks for letting me know.
I think that the 16” 3 bladed set is worth what you paid for it. The sound is very pleasing, it reminds me of many summers past.
I agree, I think that's the best one so far.
i have National 14" with a 3 blade fan. After the fan was broken, i replaced it with a 5 blade fan from a different brand, it runs with great noise.
OK
Beside the great noise, how the wind flow? Much stroger? And are fan blade compatible with other brand to exchange blade?

@@JordanU if u want the link, let me know
I would assume that blade is original looks like the color of it matches the logo. But that clear blade does have a nice shape to it.

I doubt the motor is that much stronger, if at all.
@@JordanU Well one might never know because the from what I have observed some blades have different weight from others even if they're the same shape

Perhaps some day.
Could you also do a test of that Windmere pedestal fan with the slightly warped blade that this fan came with?
look at these blades I recommend to make homemade BLDC fan with 12v photocopier motor because they are very light
That doesn't make sense.
@@JordanU the thing that doesn't make sense is you repeat the same comment several times even if I say something serious

Fan blades move air, they do not alter the temperature.
That weird 7 wing blade fascinates me. I wonder what kind of fan it could have been meant for originally.
I've seen a few newer models released here in the US with blades similar, it could be targeted for those models.

OK
More blades seem to move more air.
It depends on the shape, but generally speaking, less blades moves more air.
