These trams look remarkably like the ones featured in the 1958 Pathe film of the amazing tramway in a garden in Glastonbury. I have often wondered what happened to this. Dad Mr Stevens will now be dead and 'young' Nigel will be now in his 70s (or dead). I'd be grateful if you could enlighten me, if these trams are actually the same ones. Thank you . . . . Just now read the rest of the comments. Most of my questions have been answered! Pleased to see they have gone to a good home - no tracks through the trees though. Amazing for 1958. How on earth did he build that, I wonder? PS When the film was made I was 4 years old. Good days indeed!
Awesome !!! I always wanted to know if this tramway still worked today! This collection is beautiful and very well detailed !! Please!!! If possible we would like more images from this incredible collection !! Greetings from Pernambuco - Brasil
Is that the old Jackson-Stevens Glastonbury Tramway stock? I have the book and was watching the old Pathe news clip only yesterday, wondering what had happened to it.
Notice the double stub on the right hand section with the yellow Kinver car has no point work as each track is just one gauge either std or 3'6". I think its the best i have ever seen in many ways

Yes, the same trams at Nigels place. Brilliant layout, with mixed gauge section too. Different track plan than before.Very interesting
Красота, ну очень здорово.
Lovely that these great trams are still running. I often wondered what had become of them.

I take it those are still the same model trams as in an old 1958 Pathé film. Great to see them still going!
