    Texas may have money to build their performing arts centers, opera companies ,ballet and symphony orchestras. But look at what is happening to the treatment women, immigrants,gays, and trans children in that state. What is more important, the treatment of humans or the arts?

      I think the juxtaposition is notable. The fact that this large state can embrace diversity and topics that some might find controversial and, at the same time, can have large segments of the population promote hateful, inhumane public policy.
