- In this video we'll take a look at the South of Russia. Most people know that Russia is a cold country. But few know that some parts of it are like Italy or Greece. Lets explore the south of Russia on the Black Sea coast line. #Russia #BlackSea
I'm from the USA and now live in this region (Anapa) and find it truly a special place. There's so much diversity in both the geography and the people. Anapa is a well managed, clean and peaceful city with modern amenities, ample public spaces, beaches, cliffs, Greek and Ottoman ruins, and more. As someone who's traveled to geographically similar areas (Portugal, Spain, Italy, California and in some ways, the American Southeast), Krasnodar Krai holds it's own as a destination. Приходите. Wow, as a local I would say that people, especially the young generation, are looking for any opportunity to move north to the big cities. Coastline towns are nice, but it might be not that rational to stay here money-wise, unless you own a business or some real estate. The wages here are pretty low in comparison to Saint-Petersburg or Moscow. We've got the climate versus living standard issue here. Mind if I ask what is your story? How did you end up living here, haha?

Then I've had some experience living abroad in some countries including the United States. It'd actually be really interesting for me to talk to you about your experience here. I'm watching all these video's of Russia lately and to my surprise (maybe naive of me) Russia seems way different than "told" to me through more conventional media. I have visited many places in Russia. It makes me sick how once these nice places turned into shithole. Even Moscow is crap with 8 lane roads everywhere , police everywhere document checking, luggage scanning every time you enter subway station.

Excellent video and commentary. I am from Bengaluru, Southern India. I like and enjoy all your videos very much. Sometimes, you compare the present Russia with its Soviet past, which I like a lot. You have already covered several aspects of Russian life and Geography. It is an eye opener for people like me who could not think of Russia as a separate entity in the former USSR. Please do a bit of a detailed video on Russian space program and its Soviet past. Many Russians may not know, but the Soviet space program pioneered many things in space and definitely deserves coverage in your vlog. All the best.
Nice video! This is beautiful south! There are fine places in central Russia, also in asian part of Russia! Small towns like my own (Tver) beautiful as well! Food is delicious and plenty! Moscow and St.Petersbourg are must see!

I am from north Alabama. And so much looks like my hometown. Other parts look like Alabama to the east. And others loo like Alabama to the south and west. And those farm combines can't be any more familiar.. The big mountains are not as familiar but would not be something to b avoided as they are also beautiful. And the beaches would be much closer.

The favourite resort of my family is Lazarevskoe, the suburb of Sochi. It has beautiful nature, nice beaches, beautiful gorges with waterfalls.

the highway along the sea is very picturesque and beautiful from Anapa to Sochi. the city of Novorossiysk is very good for tourism despite the presence of industrial plants, fans of extreme MTB bike is an excellent solution that leaves bright moments and emotions in memory ! these are great tourist places to visit better in September
