Perfectly Imperfect.... Mark is such a genuine straightforward and an honest man. He's not afraid to tell his story and go public, and it is more than enough retribution to be criticized and ostracized by the hypocrite people who look highly of themselves. He sure is not an angel, but to humbly admit all his mistakes and shortcomings, that makes a real man out of him that not all man could be half the man he is.
When I heard the song I could hear the desperation and yearning in Mark's voice. it's such an honest song. I cried my eyes out throughout the song while listening to the lyrics...
@SissiStar222 No it isn't as it was written before Mark went into rehab. Mark said this in an interview in Q magazine and stated that he and Emma were unsure whether it should remain on Progress due to what happened as people would thik that's what the song was about. x
I've written a few songs for the bands I'm in/been in, and I feel my best one's are the really deep personal one's - Songs about the good and bad experiences I've gone through and that other people can relate to. the first time I heard the song, I didn't know what it was about really.. so, when I saw this and listened to it again, I just fell in love with it.
