Mine just seems to be out of balance, have not found a video of how to balance a long, centrifugal fan so I just keep it on the lowest speed, maybe just cleaning it up might do the trick?
thank you for your video it really help me, i was wondering i have a tower Honeywell fan less than a year old my power cord has a little bit of burn marks i need to replace the power cord do i have to change the whole cord? or only the bad part? and why this is happen? thank you in advance

It's safer to replace cord the patch it just by an extension cord and cut the end off and use that as a replacement

The bottom spindle is adjustable like the height of the blades so hold it up then tighten the screw and it won't scrape
