Cramps are normal when you first start breastfeeding because you uterus is contracting back to normal. It’s literally snatching you back together but it should subside after breastfeeding for few weeks. You got this boo!

Also! Apparently it contracts too because your placenta leaves a wound on the inside once it comes out, and your uterus is contracting to slow your bleeding down to a safe amount. Saying this for those who aren't breastfeeding or pumping and wondering why they're cramping!
@@TaniyaAnitraalso try sizing your nipples use the flange ruler from Amazon or legendary milk . Once you said you tried to pump the other side & it felt blocked I automatically knew it was the flange size it don’t fit your nipple . Once you size yourself breastfeeding / pumping IS SOOO EASY

Helpful note: the cramping is your body doing what it’s supposed to. When you breastfeed it assists your uterus with contracting so it can shrink back to its normal size. AKA YOUR (internal) SNAPBACK. So I know the pain is difficult but keep that in mind and hopefully it helps you manage/deal with the cramping.

Hey Tiny! Congratulations on that beautiful little baby; Cash!! Such a cutie! As a mother of 2 who had their babies 5 years apart, I felt like a brand NEW mom, and a lot of things had changed. The cramping is normal while breastfeeding or pumping. That's your uterus contracting. Also, I've seen others mention it, always fold the top of the diaper while waiting on the umbilical cord to fall off (which by now it has). Try to do the Hoka while he feeds on the other one and vice versa to catch all that letdown you may get.

Take it easy, one thing you don’t want to have is a setback, it happened to me I didn’t know how to act having a baby without stitches , I know now to sit still even though I’m feeling good. I had to be hospitalized 3 days after I got home. PLEASE,PLEASE take it easy 🙏🏾

Also latching may be hard because he takes an artificial nipple too. I recommend Phillip avent bottles if you wanna give your breastfed baby a bottle. It’s wide like the actual nipple. Also for engorged breasts use cold packs before feeding / pumping then hot packs after. Hope this helps!😘

You can massage your boobs while in the warm shower then pump. Try pumping on a schedule even if your only getting a few ounces. Make sure your eating and getting rest!!! He’s beautiful 💙

Hey sis try not to put the diaper on top of the umbilical cord … very painful for baby! Can also cause infections.
Instead you can fold the tip under the cord to allow it to breath and have the air flow.
