MSU fan here. Some really interesting matchups this game. I think it'll come down to who can make a run in the last 5 minutes, who can get around the solid defense of the other to make some deep shots late.
This MSU team is very different than Izzo's typical formula (run, and beat people up on the boards). We haven't been a very good rebounding team, and that worries me. I don't want K State getting many multiple opportunities or it could get ugly. But we have been much improved there the last 2 games. Izzo has a way of taking losses and challenges throughout the season, using them as teaching moments, and then flipping a switch come toruney time. Hoping that continues here, but I expect a tight one. Go Green!

It's always interesting listening to a group of fans of your next tournament opponent. You're in the same boat I am in regards to K-State. (Literally just finished watching 3 games including OU @ K-State. Now I'm not gonna come into another teams comment section & get all rowdy but this Spartan team brings more to the table than You're giving them credit for & stats are for ppl who don't actually understand match-ups (Not saying you don't just saying). Something to consider about MSU... they are often a different team in March than 2 months ago, so statistics don't always tell the story. Also, part of the reason they don't shoot a ton of 3s is because teams defend them at the arc because they shoot them so well.
