I've had a similar situation. I was at the mall with my aunt many years ago. Someone came over & asked me what time it is. I looked at my arm where I usually wear a watch and told him I'm sorry but I don't have a watch. My aunt looked at me in disbelief and said: "You're literally holding your phone in your hand." 🤣

I’ve done about 250 shows over the last few years that have been filmed. You tend to make some errors from time to time
I once saw told a friend I'd spotted him with his parents, only to be told that the "mum" was actually his girlfriend, and I didn't have the excuse of them being in darkness while I was on a brightly lit stage. I'd the say the "on purpose" bit is him continuing to guess despite the difficulty level! ;)
