Rich, first time visit to your channel. Great video. I grew up flying out of 3CK so I am familiar with 06C. Now retired, living in Galena and flying out of PVB. I’ll be back!
I prefer a tent with a vestibule. You can keep things like dirty boots and other dirty items out of the tent but still keep them protected. Sealing all the seams of your tent, no matter what brand, will help keep your tent dry on the inside.
Looks fun! Decided to sell my Velocity this summer and get a tail wheel plane. Just got plans to build a Bearhawk Model 5 but waiting on the kit hopefully by summer of 2023.
Thanx for another Great vid, Rich! Nacho's are a perfect choice for cold camping ( though being Cajun, mine are a LOT hotter than yours ;-) ) Love the wood stove ... I see one in my future. Skal Amigo, Hawk ^v^
Great video. Didn’t realize you were close by to me. Were you worried about critters in the tent with cooking in there, or is that not really an issue? I really enjoy your videos. ETA: you were flying out of the farm in most of the previous videos I saw.
Some coyotes came sniffing around in the middle of the night, but they got scared off before I could get video. When I'm in Idaho wildlife is a bigger concern and I hang food from trees.
Had to reload it about every 3 hours. Otherwise, it was great! Needed bigger pieces of wood and a hardwood would have been better. Mostly used scrap pine that my buddy had laying around.
Got them both on Amazon. Tent: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MZQ7BH2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Stove: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077N25XGB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Sub done!✅✈️. My guy I have watched across Fb for awhile now, I always enjoy seeing the ol plane out with you. Cook tip: if you have a lid you can add just about about 2 tablespoons of water to the pan and cover and it will steam the cheese to melted perfection! I do this with Quesadillas for laura all the time! I’d love to link up and show you sometime! Aviate on man✈️✅. ❤️Tripoli and Bruno
I do have a lid, and I even know that trick. I think I was just too focused on the broiler method to dredge it up from the memory bank though. Good idea!
I have that same tent and wood stove! Love both of them
"Daaaaaaaang. coming in hot" hahahah . Great video.
No question, my favorite Swingle-ism of all time.
Looks like an amazing trip Rich!!
This video flew by!

Good plane! Hope it pans out for you.
Really enjoyed your video...Charleston, South Carolina here!
Thanks for watching!
I really like the new wood-burning stove, and the tent is no slouch either!! How did you like them? How do you choose the airports that you visit?
That's a good question. I'll have to address it in a future video. :-)
I remember when I was ten and a airforce man actually taught me on how to fly that plane
Living the life, my man
Where is this wonderful strip!?
Great Video, keep up the good work. How about make/model on the tent and wood heater

Hi Rich. How did the stove do keeping the tent warm?
Had to reload it about every 3 hours. Otherwise, it was great! Needed bigger pieces of wood and a hardwood would have been better. Mostly used scrap pine that my buddy had laying around.
OK, I now have a new goal in life! Where do I get one of those tents and stoves?
Got them both on Amazon.
