it's hard to explain what lil b is, started as a meme, then became with his flow, content and way of rapping, a living legend by influencing ALL the new rappers, because he used to rap like no one, he just didn't care to rap like the other, everyone in the mainstream loves and respect lil b, he spreads positivity and he's a good guy.
it's hard to understand his music at first tho, anyways the word used is actually used from gen z A LOT now, like even in italy, everyone use based as a word, and people don't even know he created it.

unironically I spread the use of the word based thought a fake fb account based on lil b's lore around 2020 and 2021 in some italian facebook communities
I always referred to his real origin and meaning but people overused it to refer to something that it's right to do according to their opinions

If there is one word to describe Lil B, it has to be "enigma"
There has never been anyone else like him, and there never will be. He has songs that have brought me to tears, but also music videos that have made me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe. The BasedGod is one of the most fascinating people I've ever come across. He makes me feel like it's okay to just be myself, and to always stay based and positive. It's all love. TYBG
I think him and Viper exist in like the same space. Ik Viper is terrible, but they are kinda similar. Lil B can rap rap though when he wants
I'd recommend reading his book, Takin' Over, if you have an interest in his philosophy and mindset towards things. in itself it's not the most profound thing if you read philosophy and stuff regularly, but in context and especially for the time it's really interesting and even somewhat inspiring.

Makes me really happy to see Lil B in the thumbnail. I was going to recommend him few weeks ago but someone beat me to it. For any of you who don't know the Based God he has a lot of great songs like "Real Life, Februarys Confessions, The Worlds Ending, I Am, Gotta Blow, Back Home, Realist Alive, and Illusions Of Grandeur". There are a TON more, even some hyped up slappers that go hard but really he's one of my favorite rappers out there.
