Bought these when I got a new sled. Tried them for the first time last weekend. Every mode turns on for a second and then goes solid red. LED's in side do not turn on. Any advise?
Great video Dustin! Seems like another solid product from a great company. The only issue I have and maybe there is a way around is that yellow lenses mess with my eyes so bad. From what I can tell, they ONLY come with a yellow lens then of course you can fork out more cash for different lenses. Why not sell the base frame then let the consumer pick what lens they want with the package and price it accordingly? Or is there a way around this?
The button is a lot easier to find than you would think by watching the video. The LED indicator light inside the goggle helps you figure out what mode you are in.
@@vdzrussell idk exactly but I went to a snowmobile show and there was a rep there that told me about it and some of its features they said it’s entirely different then other ones and the way they heat idk exactly how but that’s just what he said
I wish Klim offered some replacement lens's without the vents in the face of the lens. As a high speed trail rider, they let way too much air through especially at speeds over 70 MPH causing my eyes to water - and freeze! I cut out small sections of gorilla tape to cover the gaps, but a non-vented lens would be a much better solution.
Tempest heated goggles eliminate the external battery pack and wires and have no goofy remote. no modes or buttons or apps either-they just work and with potentially a days-long battery charge.
The remote control is badass!

Same idk
I have same exact issue
Oops - just had to plug in the connector more - so that the yellow strip does not show at all. Now it works perfectly.
So can you not turn the goggles off with the remote
Yessssss!! I cannot wait to get my pair!!!
Nice product, on the auto mode it last 8h, what about the on mode? what would be the hours of battery life?
Thanks
Derek
Is the heating element on the goggles the same as in the Polaris snowmobile seats?
can I buy the batter/control etc and install it into my current Edge? I hope it has a no motion go to sleep, in case I forget to turn it off.
You do have to buy the new goggle, it cannot be installed manually on a different goggle.

That's a great suggestion! We don't have any other option around it right now but I will send your request to the team.
@@KlimUSA please keep us updated. I think this would be a massive benefit and advantage that no other goggle company is doing.
I wish the remote came with a handlebar mounting system. Not just a GoPro style mount

Button location makes it easy for a buddy check.
So its just so the goggles don't fog?
Yes that is the purpose
Why no fan like 509’s?
Because it heats the goggle in a different way and it is more even throughout the goggles
@@Chase_Posey_Gaming-1717 in a different way? How so? My 509’s have a heating element all the way around just like these klims. Along with a fan.

2:02, is that a new helmet?
Yes! Check it out here: www.klim.com/T1-Freeride-Helmet-ECE-4155-000?quantity=1&color=2905

Have you tried frog skin type material. That should still let the goggles breath and help with fogging but will cut down the wind you feel
use the Moto lenses instead of the snow.
@@IdahoMthman They still breath fine along the frame behind the lens where its meets the face foam.
