one does not need to be a zoologist to know that red pandas aren't related to pandas. some scientists used to think this because they share similar habitats and habits with actual pandas that maybe they are related somehow. this theory has been disproven. actual pandas are the first bear to split from the ancestral bear that relates them to polar bears, brown bears, etc. red pandas are related to raccoons. i'm not an idiot. but u sure as hell are for raging at my comment for no reason.
Pandas are just an informal and polyphyletic group of caniform carnivorans, which explains why the Giant Panda (Ailuropoda Melanoleuca) and Red Panda (Ailurus Fulgens) are very different and not closely related, they are the only living representatives of the families Ailuropodidae and Ailuridae respectively, the former actually belongs to the superfamily Ursoidea, making the giant panda most closely related to the bears whilst the latter belongs to another superfamily known as Procyonoidea, making the red panda most closely related to the raccoons, ringtail, cacomistle, coatis, olingos, olinguito, kinkajou, skunks, and stink badgers.
Local Bamboo Salts Trader I am but all the Salts not from Bamboo,, local wild fruits, and veggies supplement their diet as u and I have learnt over these past couple of years..
There are actually three classifications on red panda. They have their own family genus actually. They were categorized into bears but that was debunked recently hence your knowledge is very true on the subject about the reasons why they debunked that one. The other two categories are the weasel family and raccoon family. Your not too far off in theory to why people say raccoon, actually I see why. There are slight differences that spark many debates. They are in their own category due to this.
Red panda or children going missing. Witch is more important to these people? Children go missing every day, but if a red panda goes missing for more than a few hours then it's like the end of the world...what has this world come to?? :/

lexihughes247 Rare animals are more newsworthy than humans who are plentiful at over 7 billion.
Of course red panda
Both are important
If they didnt the activist would have a fit
wish they'd stop calling this animal 'red panda'. it's nothing more than a glorified racoon. it's not related to pandas at all.
