If you ever decide to spring for it, tomei does make a dual exit exhaust and if you want the single exit (my favorite) there are cheap and easy block off plates. They just snap in and look oem!
I've heard heat wrap can corroded the header overtime but I would still do it because uel get super hot by the merger and that's where ecu and bushing are

Daily driving in California is a risk man 😭😭 because of state ref and all that you really have to be careful. And with the uel headers it’s gonna make the car 10x louder but I personally like it loud but everyone is different and if you’re planning to get headers, make sure you have enough money for a tune as well. I did get stopped one time by a motorcycle cop but he was cool and let me off with a warning and that was AFTER he saw me shoot flames lmfao. Tomei uel headers, motive over pipe, hks dual resonated front pipe and tomei 80r. It’s very loud but up to you 🤌🏻 yolo
I gotta 20’ Si full straight pipe open down pipes and I definitely will say id love a 86/BRZ soley for this rumble its coo cuz u dont gotta try hard to have it sound good with UEL!

I have the track with the tomei UEL header on my ZD8 but also bought a ECUTEK ECU and had my car tuned to a lower rpm on a cold start and it sounds way better. I just did it because nobody had videos on how the touring sounds with the tomei header but now that you uploaded one, it sounds so fire!

@@n88atee I don’t feel much power just yet because I’m sending boosted performance, which is the company I bought it from, different data’s so they’re tuning it at the moment. But once it’s fully tuned I’ll let you know how it feels for sure!
Are u able to drive it without tune or how long can it stand without running tune and messed up ur engine ? Just asking planning to get uel too I don’t wanna risk it still have my warranty on it 😂
It’s definitely recommended to get a tune but I think you should be fine running it without a tune just for a little bit, but not too long. I’m getting it tuned next week.
