they easily could have dropped 2 -3 map expansions in the last 4 years. midtown, brooklyn, Annapoliss, and Arlington. or WHATEVER region they decided. people would have gladly bucked up coin for new maps, new enemy, new missions

Season 2.0... It might be the burst of creativity we craved for but considering the dev's trackrecord I'm afraid it will be the opposite. All this doesn't bode well for the upcoming DLC. I mean, the devs have proven they are not in sync with the DIV2-community. Descent was a fail and what do they do... they force a larger scale Descent on us with the seasonal character. Before Ubisoft released the news about Seasons 2.0 I was looking forward to the DLC. Now... well, I couldn't care less. I have lost my faith in the devs delivering exciting new content. seasons 2.0 doesn't respect your time. I highly doubt the rewards are worth it, given the latest sets and exotics. Think I have better places to spend my time. Fun game enjoyed it allot but I want to have fun..not grind and throw away.
Great analogy. This might be a bad sign for the life of game (till div 3 comes out). Reminds me of power anime’s like Dragon Ball Z and/or Naruto. Once characters become too powerful, the show either ends, or they find a way to do a reset, but the reset is not the same as the original. Hopefully div 3 is coming soon

Yannick and his team came back and said to me it’s not possible technically at this moment in time. I was told it was the architecture which we all know was a lie. I put forward ideas how to resolve this. I still got negative response not freezable. So I put it to you and the community why is it they lied to me.. they did it on purpose probably. But as far as I’m concerned, I’m done with game. I’ve played other games to my own preference which are my variety and enjoyment for myself personally and I’ve moved on. It was nice while it lasted. Nevertheless, to be told point blank it’s not possible and I suggested it was they like the community big time all of a sudden they come out with this crap..
I would like to be able to get all season content from 1 onwards. I missed season 3 and 5 and the blueprints at the crafting bench are locked and I don’t get the reason to leave past season content locked.
They actually have a team of the best players, some content creators,etc and it's not helping one bit. Although i would be curious to know what the team is telling the devs, they have a name for that team i just don't remember it right now.
Is anyone else having an issue with not being able to complete the first part of the manhunt? I beat the Cinderblock control point multiple times and it wont register it as completed to continue the manhunt
@@ITZ_TREYVAUGHN yeah I'm doing it all one sitting and no progression happens after the control point is captured. Even reset the manhunt a couple times as well to see if that work but nothing again
I never cared enough to use mules, I just wanted to play the game. If I hadn't quit after the "oh surprise! they're alive!" reveal, I would have quit now.
I have been playing since day 1 and loved the game despite doing the same thing over and over but now I think I have had enough. They just keep messing up and it’s no longer fun to play. It’s become so easy on heroic and legendary. There’s no challenges anymore. They never listen to what players want and give us stuff we don’t.
My bet is that these modifiers will be a lot like the summit when it first released, and we had to play a set of directives at a certain difficulty and "unique patrols." However, this time, we'll have some Descent mode things like gas or fire in random places during a bounty. Expect Washington Hotel backward with EMPs and rogue striker drones, etc.. All on an underpowered character. Im just not participating in the game (minus venting in a couple of comment sections) anymore, and I have uninstalled it. I hate seasonal characters and really loved that the division was a game I could pop on, do the season with my main guy, seek out any new challenges, and move on (which the play style Yannick sold the game as during so many live streams, saying "its okay if this isnt your main game"). But like all of Ubisoft, always chasing yesterday's trends and /or flat out just making poor cash grab attempts (RB6 subscription). I dont even want to imagine the bugs that will come with this new update as well. Anyway, not at all what the community or myself wanted, but at least I know to avoid Div 3, cause seasonal characters and an egregious MTX scheme awaits us there.
Nerf the character to make the game feel more challenging, to make the 'new' modifiers feel more challenging. To make crappy loot suddenly feel rewarding and to make it so bosses and ads are so spongy that it forces us to take longer thus increasing playtime. To any new players this may feel great, to an existing player who is at least at an even power level with heroic and legendary ads or even the hunters, the Devs clearly don't want you to be able to go against these enemies as easily as some of us do. They want us to die and repeat or take over 1 hour on a basic mission at normal difficulty because it increases playtime and makes everyone equal. I remember I ranted about a similar thing to GC rock too. I wouldn't be surprised if in the background, the loot drops will not only be low by default but also have some of the worst combined roles so that it becomes impossible to make a temporary coherent build. Hell they may even make it where targeted loot isnt featured with the seasonal character, after all the even more bad RNG and grinding means even more playtime. I feel the players are forgetting how much the Devs can choose to manipulate in the background of this or any game without the need to mention it. Like theres nothing stopping them from capping the base core values for the seasonal characters (IE max weapon damage can only go up to 9% instead of 15% or armour being capped at 100,000 instead of 170,000, PFEs being capped at 8% crit chance being capped at 3% etc) all to make sure the player doesn't have enough of a power level to complete to 'new' content too fast or easily. The reason I mention caps is because the weapon bench had some caps in it for certain items so the devs can certainly add invisible caps into the general loot pool if they wish.
The only thing I like about the bugs and game crashing is, no one can inspect my gear and ever since the last update guess what haven't seen a content creator put up a build video what a coincidence 😂
The whole season and last 2 weeks can use main character, old players will just wait till them and smash out the season in 2-4 days like we do now , we ain’t going back level 1 for no reason or gain at all, and it’s not even new gear it’s just switched around. Attributes and change the colour of the set, I mean we need a shotgun to slow people down or we could just kill them faster with any other gun, also if your still using the intimidate method on triplets , should try the like glue gun as it also amplifies damage , worth a look I think ,
But everything new in the New seasons will be locked behind the season mule. You can log in, but looking at weapons, gear and apparel events that you cant have access to without using the mule. I think thats on of the issues.
I never really liked the seasonal character style of gameplay where they become throwaways at the end of a season and you just re level a new one each season. Even more so if the only way to play the new manhunt each season is to level a new seasonal character each time.

I used to love jumping in ,and look forward to completing a project. With the nerfing there doing for the influx has destroyed it for me. Was hoping for more content, not babysitting noobs.
At this point they are to deep in to development, they can't change their minds now even if they want to listen to the players. It's sad but they are destroying their own game. There're doing season characters is because expertise is broken/OP (and maybe the seasonal modifiers). That's why season characters won't be able to have expertise on gear/weapons. U can proficient ur gear/weapons. There is NO nerfs when it comes to seasons 2.0. Anyone that says it's a nerf doesn't know what nerfs mean. Floor 10, global XP changes, descent talent power/percentages, etc is an example of nerfs. Global XP changes also has buffs. Just because we can't use our mains doesn't mean it's a nerf. Saying missing out when not playing seasonal characters is not a nerf. Because the people that are able to go to lvl 40 without WONY is missing out on the new york map but they're not nerfed compared to people with WONY. Non WONY owners can get the same gear/weapons and the watch just like WONY owners can. The only thing non WONY owners can't get is the skills, which is the only "nerf" to non WONY owners.
My guy, the devs said seasons 2.0 is made to balance content for all players. That means we got nerfed, the content didnt get harder, we were made weaker ( if we want to enjoy the coming season)

@@SoakDisko I know mules are used for watch points and/or storage. The only things that season characters are different from normal mules is the story and looking at the new items. Also I forgot to mention in the previous comment. Season characters may actually be a "buff" then a "nerf" considering that expertise is being replaced by either more watch stats (something like +10% PFE or +10% XP gain) or more existing watch stats (something like +10% CHC to +20% CHC or +10 hazard protection to +20 hazard protection) and is being compared to normal mules (unless u got expertise lvls on low lvl gear/weapons for mules).
This game has been dead for years. If you're still playing, you've already drank the Kool-aid and are comfortable playing the same content 5000 times so go on and play your little seasonal character and be happy

They could have at least gave us slowly over time v2.0 of each mission at least like Bank 2.0 but no they have technically gave us nothing instead they have taken stuff away

I used to love jumping in ,and look forward to completing a project. With the nerfing there doing for the influx has destroyed it for me. Was hoping for more content, not babysitting noobs.
Why don't they just put survival mode in the game . Like the first Division.

Tone deaf devs not listening to the community, guess what, no thank you. Not buying their seasonal dlc, if enough players vote with their wallet and voice their concerns. Maybe they will changed and listened to these concerns. Enough is enough!!!
There're doing season characters is because expertise is broken/OP (and maybe the seasonal modifiers). That's why season characters won't be able to have expertise on gear/weapons. U can proficient ur gear/weapons.
There is NO nerfs when it comes to seasons 2.0. Anyone that says it's a nerf doesn't know what nerfs mean.
Floor 10, global XP changes, descent talent power/percentages, etc is an example of nerfs. Global XP changes also has buffs.
Just because we can't use our mains doesn't mean it's a nerf. Saying missing out when not playing seasonal characters is not a nerf. Because the people that are able to go to lvl 40 without WONY is missing out on the new york map but they're not nerfed compared to people with WONY. Non WONY owners can get the same gear/weapons and the watch just like WONY owners can. The only thing non WONY owners can't get is the skills, which is the only "nerf" to non WONY owners.
My guy, the devs said seasons 2.0 is made to balance content for all players. That means we got nerfed, the content didnt get harder, we were made weaker ( if we want to enjoy the coming season)
@@SoakDisko the "balance" is taking away expertise. U may say that's a nerf but when u do a mule character, do u have expertise on it? I don't (except skills I do). The seasonal characters is just a season long mule that does the story and uses the new items.
@@alphaelite1861 yea, but the mule is used simply for watch points and/or storage space. Its a simple 1 day NYC run, then back to main character. At most ppl have is like 2 main characters. and 2 mules they dont use to play with. We are getting a 15 week mule lol
@@SoakDisko I know mules are used for watch points and/or storage. The only things that season characters are different from normal mules is the story and looking at the new items.
Also I forgot to mention in the previous comment. Season characters may actually be a "buff" then a "nerf" considering that expertise is being replaced by either more watch stats (something like +10% PFE or +10% XP gain) or more existing watch stats (something like +10% CHC to +20% CHC or +10 hazard protection to +20 hazard protection) and is being compared to normal mules (unless u got expertise lvls on low lvl gear/weapons for mules).
