REWAL by the sea, beach, holiday, attractions | Poland from a drone 4K 2022

The origin of the village known as Rewahl dates back to the second half of the 14th century, when a robber inn was erected on the route connecting Gdansk, Kolobrzeg and Kamien Pomorski.
The village was divided into two parts: the western part, lying within the lands belonging to Sliwin, was subordinate to the Kamień Pomorski chapter, while the eastern part belonged to the Trzakeck estate of the von Flemming family.
The divided village was reunited on 1 April 1905. The inhabitants of the former Rewal were mainly occupied with fishing, with the local innkeeper being the only one to farm the land.
Unusual natural conditions resulted in Rewal gaining the status of a bathing resort in 1827, at that time acting mainly as a tourist destination receiving mainly tourists from Berlin and the surrounding area. Despite the increasing interest of tourists in resting in Rewal, it was not until the second half of the 1890s that accommodation facilities began to be built.
The village is known for many interesting objects such as a viewing terrace located in its centre at the main descent to the beach, a promenade leading to another viewing platform and numerous monuments and objects testifying to the fishing tradition. (source: rewal.pl)
